45 Sleep Affirmations For Peace, Gratitude & Manifestation
In this article, discover 45 calming sleep affirmations for peace, gratitude, and manifestation. Download your free printable sleep affirmations to use nightly to help you cultivate a mindset of true serenity as you fall asleep.
How To Use Sleep Affirmations
Positive affirmations are empowering statements designed to help you cultivate deeper self-love and self-belief. By repeating positive affirmations throughout your day, you consciously choose how to direct your energy. Instead of letting the outside world dictate how you feel, positive affirmations allow you to remain in control of your own thoughts and feelings.
Sleep affirmations work the same way as other positive affirmations. Instead of stressing about the past or worrying about tomorrow, they allow you to harness more calming and uplifting energy in the present moment as you wind down for the day.
And this is extremely powerful—to fall asleep with thoughts of peace, gratitude, and joy instead of stress, worry, and fear. To consciously choose to let go of anything that doesn’t serve your mind, body, and spirit. To create a beautiful inner world, helping you to manifest an outer world that becomes a reflection of what you’ve created within.
Sleep affirmations aren’t necessarily a way to fall asleep more quickly, though they may help as they allow you to stop worrying and stressing about things that happened during the day or what might happen tomorrow.
But what makes sleep affirmations truly powerful is that they can help reframe your subconscious mind. Before you fall asleep, you can plant seeds of hope, love, and trust within. These seeds will grow deeper and begin to sprout while you sleep. Soon, these positive thoughts and feelings will be so ingrained within you that you’ll notice yourself thinking and feeling differently during the day.
And then you’ll see that your outside world is a reflection of your inner one. And that’s when the real magic begins to happen.
It’s one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to begin changing your life—simply by harnessing the power of your thoughts.
And all it takes is a few moments before bed to get started.
Below, you’ll find 45 positive sleep affirmations divided into three categories: affirmations for peace, affirmations for gratitude, and affirmations for manifestation.
I’ve also included resources throughout the article to help you protect your energy, cultivate more inner peace, and manifest the life you truly desire.
And don’t forget to download and save your free PDF of these sleep affirmations below so you can continue to use them each night before you fall asleep.

40 Positive Affirmations for Overcoming Challenges
In this post, discover 40 positive affirmations for overcoming challenges, facing adversity, and getting through hard times with dignity and grace. Use these affirmations to guide you in your journey and help you to find your inner courage during all seasons of your life.
Facing Challenges and Adversity
I use positive affirmations often throughout my day, but I’ve found that the times I need them the most is when I’m facing a challenge or difficult situation. However, in order for a positive affirmation to truly help me with the challenge I’m facing, I can’t just say something positive; I have to truly feel it in my bones.
What does this mean?
Let’s say you wake up knowing that today’s going to be a particularly difficult day. You look at yourself in the mirror, take a deep breath, and say, “I have all the tools I need to handle anything that comes my way today.”
These words alone won’t help you—not if you don’t truly believe them.
And beyond that, you have to live them as well.
That means that when you’re dealing with obstacles and challenges, instead of giving in to the negative feelings that weigh down on you, you have to go back to your empowering words. Repeat them. Feel them deep within.
I have all the tools I need to handle anything that comes my way today.
I am strong, capable, and competent.
I’ve got this.
But it doesn’t stop here.
Because it isn’t really just about “handling” or “getting through” obstacles and roadblocks.
It’s about knowing in your heart that these hard times are serving some kind of purpose. It’s about being willing to receive the lessons that the difficult moments can teach you. It’s about discovering the beauty that can be found in life’s messy moments.
And it’s also about trusting that if things aren’t working out the way you want them to, it’s often because something better is coming.
To be clear, this doesn’t mean you should engage in toxic positivity. You don’t have to force yourself to pretend that the hardships don’t hurt.
One of the most profound experiences I’ve encountered over the last several years was when I was going through a rough patch, and I found myself crying daily, feeling sad and lost and uncertain about my future.
I allowed myself to feel all of that pain, but even in the sadness, I still had deep trust that everything would work out for me. I knew in my heart that I would become stronger for this experience. I gave myself permission to explore the depths of my emotions fully while still knowing that the universe would support me and have my back no matter what.
After walking through that experience with faith and trust, I became a little less afraid of future challenges and roadblocks. I knew that in some way, every experience I encountered was a gift, no matter how heavy the world often felt.
I believe we’re all capable of handling so much more than we realize. You are so much stronger and braver and more powerful than you know. You have the ability to face any obstacle, and you also have the ability to step back and discover how your greatest challenges can often be your greatest gifts.
Below are 40 positive affirmations for overcoming challenges, facing adversity, and walking through hard times with dignity and grace. I hope these affirmations remind you that you are strong, capable, and resilient, and that you are capable of meeting all challenges with faith, courage, and undeniable resilience.

35 Calming Affirmations to Release Your Worries
In this post, discover 35 calming affirmations to help you cultivate a sense of serenity and deep inner peace, no matter what’s going on in your external world.
Updated December 3rd, 2021
Inhale Peace, Exhale Worry
How do you speak to yourself when you feel worried or anxious? What about when you’re feeling uneasy about something that’s happened in the past or may happen in the future? How do you respond to uncertainty and doubt?
Where does your mind go when everything in your external world begins to feel messy, scattered, and out of control?
In tense and anxious moments, it’s easy to get lost in your own troublesome thoughts. One negative thought leads to another, which leads to another, sending you down a rabbit hole of persistent worries and fear. Often, your brain does this to protect itself. Maybe you don’t want to get your hopes up too much, and you want to protect your heart in case things don’t work out the way you hope.
If you’ve ever felt this way before, know that it’s okay. Instead of criticizing yourself for having these thoughts, breathe love and compassion into your worries and fears.
And know this:
You are in control of your thoughts. You are the only one who can determine how you get to feel in every moment. There is nothing outside of you that can bring you the peace and serenity you’ve been looking for. Why? Because deep inner peace already exists within. It’s always there, even when you don’t see it. It isn’t about finding peace; it’s about releasing anything that obscures the peace, love, and tranquility that you have access to in every moment of every day.
It’s okay to feel anxious sometimes. Just know that you have the power to both acknowledge your worries and fears while still rising above anything that doesn’t serve or support your highest good.
Below, you’ll find 35 calming affirmations to help you in moments of worry, anxiety, and fear. These calming affirmations are designed to help you take back your power from anything that’s been weighing you down. When you’re feeling overwhelmed, let these calming affirmations soothe your spirit and bring you deep inner peace. Whenever you notice your brain straying to worrying and anxious thoughts, use these affirmations to gently bring you back to the present moment and help you cultivate a sense of serenity, stability, and strength.
And for some tips on how to get the most out of using affirmations in your daily life, be sure to check out my post, How to Use Affirmations (So They Actually Work).

50 Meditation Affirmations to Feel Grounded & Secure
In this post, discover 50 meditation affirmations to help you feel grounded, peaceful, and secure, no matter what’s going on in your external world. These affirmations can also be used in your daily life to cultivate a sense of deep inner peace and harmony as you continue through your day.
How to Use Meditation Affirmations
An affirmation is any statement you make about yourself and/or the world that you affirm to be true. Positive affirmations, specifically, are present-tense statements that are designed to uplift and encourage while boosting self-belief and supporting your overall well-being.
If you meditate regularly, you may already incorporate affirmations in your meditation in some capacity. When I first started meditating, I solely focused on my breathing during meditations. It wasn’t until I started listening to guided meditations that I began incorporating affirmations, as well as other practices such as visualization, in my daily meditations.
So what exactly are meditation affirmations, and how do you use them?
Truly, a meditation affirmation can be anything. For instance, if you want to connect with your creativity, you might recite affirmations for creativity during your meditation. Or if you want to create more prosperity in your life, you can use affirmations to manifest abundance.
Personally, when I think about meditation affirmations, I tend to think about affirmations that invite a sense of calm, stability, and inner peace into my world. I like to use meditation affirmations that help me to feel centered and grounded, no matter what’s going on in my external world.
There are no hard rules for using meditation affirmations. You can incorporate them as a small part of your meditation, or you can center your entire meditation around using calming and/or empowering affirmations. It’s also okay to say your affirmations either in your head, at a whisper, or aloud; it just depends on what feels most comfortable for you.
Below are 50 meditation affirmations to help you feel grounded, peaceful, and secure. Most of these affirmations are fairly short and easy to remember, so you can choose to memorize the ones that resonate most or keep a list of affirmations nearby during your meditation. You can also choose to focus on just one affirmation during your meditation or cycle through several at a time. Do what feels most comfortable and best supports your mind, body, and spirit.
