    What Is Scripting?

    Whether you’re new to the Law of Attraction or an experienced manifestor, scripting is a worthwhile practice to help lift your vibrations, elevate your emotions, and align you with the frequency of your dreams and desires. It’s also a beneficial practice to help you set intentions and get clear about what exactly you want to manifest.

    So what exactly is scripting?

    Scripting is a combination of visualization and journaling. In this practice, you write about your dreams and desires in story-like form, as if you already possess everything you want to manifest. For instance, let’s say you want to manifest your dream job. When you sit down to script, you’d write about your day as if you have your dream job right now, in the present moment. Here are just a few ways you could approach this:

    • You could write about receiving the phone call offering you your dream job as if it just happened or is happening right now.
    • You could also write about your perfect first day on the dream job.
    • Or you could even write as if you’ve been working in this dream job for a while now, and you’re absolutely loving it.

    The key here is to write as if you’re already living your dreams and desires right now in this present moment. You’ve made it. You have everything you can dream of and more. There is no more waiting; it’s all here for you, and all you have to do is reach out and grab it.

    Benefits Of Scripting

    So why exactly should you add scripting to your manifestation practice? Here are the key benefits of scripting:

    • Aligns your frequency with your desires: In scripting, you don’t simply write the words down and leave them there; you allow yourself to feel all of the positive emotions of having your dreams in the present moment. When you do this, you get on the same wavelength of your desires, which attracts more positive things, people, and experiences to flow into your life.
    • Raises your vibration: It feels good to feel good. By raising your vibrations, you’re inviting more good-feeling vibes into your inner and outer worlds.
    • Helps you set intentions: One of the first steps in manifestation is to get clear about what you want. Scripting your dream life allows you to figure out exactly what you want in full detail.
    • Engages your sacral and third eye chakras: How often do you get to engage in creative practices? How often do you use your imagination in your daily life? Through scripting, you get to let your inner creative being shine, allowing you to engage with your energy centers for creativity (sacral) and imagination (third eye). In many ways, scripting can engage all of your chakras, as it allows you to feel safe, strong, confident, loved, and abundant. When your chakras are open and energy is flowing through you with ease, you’re in closest alignment with your highest, most authentic self.
    • Builds confidence: One of the biggest barriers to manifesting your dreams is your own self-doubt. When you script, you not only increase your own positive emotions, but you lift your confidence and show your mind that you can do it. This is why elite athletes often practice visualization exercises repeatedly before a big game or event. By the time the event actually comes, they’ve done it so many times in their minds, they feel confident in their abilities and know they can perform at the highest level.

    Tips For Scripting

    • Use your five senses: To fully immerse yourself in your script, write about the experience using all of your senses. What do you see, feel, smell, touch, and taste? If you want to manifest a new car, you could write pages simply detailing how it feels to sit in and drive this car using all of your senses.
    • Use only past and present tense: Write about each experience as if it’s happening right now (or just happened). For instance, if you’re scripting a day in your dream life, you could imagine it’s the end of the day and you’re journaling about everything that happened that day. Or you could write as though you’re walking through this day right now. The key is to feel as if this experience belongs to you now, not in an intangible future.
    • Express gratitude: When you express gratitude, you’re essentially telling the Universe, “More of this please.” More love. More joy. More freedom. More abundance. In your script, frequently express gratitude for this incredible life you get to live.
    • Don’t just write; feel: I alluded to this above, but it can’t be emphasized enough. The key to making scripting work is to feel all of the positive emotions of having your dreams and desires right now. Let these feelings light up every cell of your being. And when you’re done, continue to carry them with you throughout your day.

Most of the affirmations you’ll find here are mindset affirmations, but incorporating future pacing affirmations into your daily life is definitely a worthwhile practice when it comes to lifting your vibrations and aligning you with the positive emotions of your dreams and desires.

    Mindset affirmations are the type of affirmations you use to uplift, empower, affirm your worthiness. These affirmations are the type that help you to cultivate an overall mindset of positivity.

    Here are a few examples of mindset affirmations:

    • I am worthy.
    • I am powerful.
    • I am enough.
    • I am strong in mind, body, and spirit.
    • I have the courage and confidence to achieve my dreams.
    • I am bold, brave, and brilliant.

    Future pacing affirmations are a little different than these typical mindset affirmations. When using these types of affirmations, you’re asserting that your desired manifestation has already come true.

    Here are a few examples of future pacing affirmations:

    • I am a successful writer with millions of fans who love to read my work.
    • I am in a beautiful, loving relationship with a partner who truly loves me for me.
    • I am a successful health coach making a positive difference in the lives of others. Clients are lining up to work with me!

    How To Use These Affirmations

    • Feel the emotions of the affirmation. Before anything else, an affirmation starts in the body. And beyond the actual words, affirmations are feelings and emotions. So if you say, I am worthy, you would truly feel a sense of undeniable worthiness in your being. And if you say, I possess unlimited power, then allow yourself to feel your limitless power flowing inside you.
    • Recite your affirmations throughout the day. This includes as you wake up in the morning, as you get ready for work, when you’re driving in the car, when you’re working out, and any other time you think it will benefit you. It may seem like a lot of work at first to consciously remind yourself to repeat these affirmations, but in time, you’ll no longer have to remind yourself because the positive words will be ingrained within you.
    • Practice mirror work. Stand in front of the mirror, look yourself in the eyes, and affirm your ability to create the life you desire. Tell yourself that you’re a powerful manifestor. Every time you look in the mirror, practice feeling all the positive emotions of having your desires in the present moment.
    • Leave notes for yourself. Notes can be in the form of post-its or even a notification that pops up on your phone. Fill these notes with powerful Law of Attraction affirmations. Every time you find one of your notes, feel all the positive emotions of the words inside your body.
    • And finally, recognize any limiting beliefs that may be stopping you from believing your affirmation. If there’s something stopping you from truly getting onboard with the words you’re wanting to affirm, don’t suppress these emotions. In this post, I talk more about limiting beliefs and how to release them.

    Law Of Attraction Affirmations

    • I am the author of my life story.
    • I am the designer of my universe.
    • I have the freedom to create any future I want.
    • I choose what I become.
    • All the good I put out, I gain back tenfold.
    • I am in charge of my life and the only one who can dictate my path.

    Future Pacing Affirmations

    For future pacing affirmations, you’ll want to make these specific for what you want to manifest. Below, I’ve provided you with four templates for future pacing affirmations that you can personalize to fit your needs. I’ve also written two examples for each so you can see how they work.

    What is the Art of Allowing?

    The Art of Allowing is a key component in manifestation, which is the practice of visualizing your dreams and desires and vibrating at the frequency of your desires as if they’ve already come true. By becoming the embodiment of all your deepest desires, you attract more of this positive energy to you. (For instance, when you allow yourself to feel truly loved and cherished right now, you attract even more love into your life.)

    Generally, when you read or listen to someone speak about manifestation, it’s in a very active sense. The word “manifest” itself is an action word. It seems to require continually doing. You visualize your desires, set an intention, listen to your intuition, take inspired action, and continually cultivate more and more self-belief.

    But this only tells half the story. Manifestation isn’t only about doing; it’s also about being.

    Or, rather, allowing.

    According to Abraham Hicks, the Art of Allowing is “the conscious, gentle guiding of your thoughts in the general direction of the things that you desire.”

    To demonstrate this, imagine that you’re on a boat floating down a river. When you’re effortlessly floating downstream, you’re moving in the flow of all your dreams and desires. You might set aside your paddles, lay down, and let the Universe carry you, trusting that it’s taking you exactly where you want to go.

    It seems simple enough, but often, we do the exact opposite: we pick up the oars and start furiously trying to paddle upstream, convinced we know the right path. Not only does this take us in the opposite direction of our desires, but it causes us to exert a lot more energy (and most of it isn’t positive).

    The Art of Allowing is the practice of moving in flow with the Universe. It’s understanding that manifestation and the Law of Attraction isn’t 100% doing all the time. When you’re in alignment with the universal flow, you realize that your most important work of all is to feel good. You’re able to let go of control and surrender your path to the Universe. You focus on cultivating such a beautiful world within, your positive energy spreads outside of you.

    This is the Art of Allowing: to let the positive energy of all your dreams and desires become the center of your world. You leave the when, what, where, and how to the Universe and focus solely on cultivating positive thoughts and positive emotions that support your entire well-being.

    When you’re able to do this consistently each day, something kind of magical will begin to unfold in your outer world.

    How to Know If You’re Allowing

    Have you ever had a moment where you feel really good about the path you’re on but then inner worries start to kick in? Maybe you think it’s too good to be true. Or maybe you start to think that you’re not truly worthy of your dreams. Many of us unintentionally self-sabotage, believing that it’s just not possible for good things to happen to us.

    Something has to go wrong, right?

    I’ve experienced this many times in my own journey. I’ll experience success and feel really good about my success . . . and then soon after, my inner worries and insecurities start to kick in. Here are some common thoughts I’ve had when this happens:

    • Am I really worthy of all these good things?
    • Something bad has to happen, right?
    • I shouldn’t be so confident. As soon as I’m too confident, the Universe will knock me back down again.

    Have you ever had these types of thoughts? These negative thoughts are essentially our way of sabotaging ourselves from allowing more good things to flow in.

    It’s not just our own internal fears and limiting beliefs that stop us from allowing, though. When we let external situations influence our internal worlds, we also block ourselves from receiving what we desire.

    For instance, someone cuts you off in traffic. Or someone is rude to you at the grocery store. Maybe your boss was a jerk today or your partner’s bad mood has started to affect your own.

    When you let these external situations stir up negative feelings such as anger and frustration within, you’re only causing yourself to suffer in the long run. Your power lies in your ability to experience a range of negative external situations but to not let them influence your own emotional state.

    How to Practice the Art of Allowing

    In theory, it seems like practicing the Art of Allowing should be really easy. It simply requires you to allow in the things you really want in your life. And to do that, the first step is to feel all of the things you already want to feel in your life: joyful, peaceful, free, abundant, loved.

    All of it sounds simple enough.

    But the truth is, this practice isn’t always easy. Especially not at first. There’s a good chance that you have decades of lived experience that directly counteracts the Art of Allowing.

    So that’s why I want to start with this:

    If you notice yourself having trouble releasing your worries and simply allowing, don’t criticize yourself. Don’t judge or condemn yourself.

    One affirmation that I really like in these moments is, “I’m doing the best I can, and my best is enough.”

    To help make the Art of Allowing a little easier, here are some practices you can utilize in your daily life:

    Connect With Your Inner Self

    The first step to practicing the Art of Allowing is to understand your own relationship with allowing in your daily life. Do you easily allow things in, or do you always have to be in control of every situation? Do you trust the Universe to support you? How much time do you spend doing versus time spent being?

    Once you understand your own relationship with allowing, you’re better able to begin surrendering control. While you can internally reflect upon the questions I posed above, I always find journaling to be a profound practice when I need to connect with my deepest self. To start, find a quiet spot where you won’t be interrupted. See if you can dedicate at least 15 to 20 minutes to this practice. As you journal, enact a “no self-criticism” rule. This means that even if uncomfortable truths arise, you don’t judge yourself for what you uncover.

    Rather, acknowledge your truths with love and compassion. Remember that this journey of personal growth isn’t easy, and give yourself some credit for the courage it takes to go on this journey. If you’re not happy with the way you’ve reacted to situations in the past, you can recognize this while also asserting that you’re ready to start telling a new story now.

    Below, you’ll find some journal prompts to help you uncover your own relationship with the Art of Allowing.

    Journal Prompts for the Art of Allowing

    • Do I trust my path or do I have a hard time releasing control? What makes this hard or easy for me?
    • What does it mean to me to surrender to a higher power? Is this easy or hard for me?
    • What are three ways I can practice surrendering in my daily life?
    • What evidence do I see in my life that the Universe is always looking out for me? What are some visible and non-visible signs of the Universe’s love?
    • How can I use this evidence to cultivate more trust and allowing?
    • When it comes to my big goals and dreams, how much time do I spend doing? How much do I practice simply allowing?
    • What does allowing mean to me?
    • How does allowing feel to me?
    • Describe a day as your highest, most authentic self walking through life simply allowing. What does this day look like?

    Use Positive Affirmations

    Positive affirmations are present-tense statements that are designed to uplift and encourage while boosting self-belief and supporting your overall well-being. Most positive affirmations support the practice of allowing, as they help to align you with the feel-good state of your dreams and desires. Depending on the situation, you can use specific affirmations that will help you in the moment. For instance, if you’re experiencing anxiety, you can repeat some gentle affirmations for anxiety.

    Meditate

    Whenever you feel misaligned, meditation is a powerful practice for gently guiding you back home to yourself. It allows you to let go, surrender control, and open yourself up to receive whatever is for your highest good. Meditation is truly the ultimate practice for being and allowing.

    Consider this quote from Abraham Hicks:

    • “By deliberately focusing upon good-feeling thoughts, you allow your physical cells to return to their natural balance. Breathing deeply is the key, softly hearing our words and allowing gentle alignment with the Energy of your Source.”

    And this one:

    • “There is no better way of stopping the momentum of something unwanted, and to allow the momentum of something wanted, than to meditate – other than getting a full night’s sleep.”

    Align With Your Highest Self

    Your highest self is your essential self; it’s the eternal part of you that’s untouched by human experiences. This is the truest, most authentic part of you.

    When you think about the Art of Allowing, consider how your highest self would respond to various situations. How does your highest self approach your goals and dreams? Does your highest self trust your path? How does your highest self respond in the face of not knowing what’s going to happen next?

    It takes practice, but intentionally choosing to align with your highest self is one of the most powerful practices you can do to allow your deepest desires to manifest in your life. (And if you stray from your highest self? That’s okay. Don’t criticize or judge yourself. Respond with love and compassion, and remember that in every moment, you have the opportunity to realign with the true you.)

    Below are some questions to consider when thinking about your highest self. You can answer these questions internally or reflect upon them in your journal.

    • Who is my highest self? How do I align with my highest self in my daily life?
    • Is my highest self able to trust, allow, and just be?
    • How does my highest self approach each day? How does my highest self react to negative energy? How does my highest self walk through life?
    • Do I regularly consult with my highest self when responding to situations and making decisions? If not, how can I begin to include my highest self in my life’s journey?
    • When I’m aligned with my highest self, how do I feel?

    Abraham Hicks Quotes on the Art of Allowing

    • “The Art of Allowing, is wanting so much to feel good, that whether you are perusing the past or the present, or the future, you’re deliberately looking for the best-feeling thought that you can find.”
    • “The Art of Allowing says, ‘I’ve created it. It’s coming to me. It wants me. I want it. I will find a path to allow it. And the path of allowing what I want is the path of happiness, and joy, and feeling good.'”
    • “No matter what it is, if you really want it, and if you get out of the way of it, it will happen. It must be. It is Law. It can be no other way. It’s the way this Universe is established. If you want it and you relax, it will happen.”
    • “The Art of Allowing is caring so much about how I feel that I am unwilling to go to those uncomfortable places like: defending, justifying, rationalizing or trying to figure out why.”

    One Final Note

    One last aspect about the Art of Allowing that’s important to mention is that this practice also means allowing others to live their lives without trying to control them. You may think you know the best path for them, but you can’t force anything on another person. They must discover their own path, which may be drastically different from what you want for them.

    You can be a beacon of love and compassion. You can be a guiding light when they ask for advice. You can be a positive example of what it means to walk your own path in love and faith.

    But you can’t push them in a certain direction.

    The Art of Allowing means giving others the freedom to follow their own inner knowing, learn from their own experiences, and grow at their own pace.

    And truly, when you’re aligned with the flow of the Universe, you won’t want this anyway. Once you fully allow, there is no need to control. You’ll be able to let go and trust that the Universe is taking care of the highest good for yourself and others.

    Most of us have short-term and long-term goals for our lives. These goals might include positive career movement, financial success, living in the place you’ve always dreamed of, and/or building healthy personal relationships.

    But how often do you take the time to write your goals down? It’s easy to lose sight of your goals in the midst of your daily life. When dealing with external demands, thinking about your long-term goals sometimes seems less urgent.

    But it shouldn’t be.

    Your goals matter. Every dream, desire, passion, and objective that’s been placed inside you has been put there for a reason. And you owe it to yourself to follow it as far as it will take you.

    Below, you’ll find 33 journal prompts for goal setting and future planning.     How to Use These Journal Prompts

    • To start, find a quiet spot where you won’t be interrupted. Allow yourself to truly connect with your inner self. It doesn’t matter if it’s morning, afternoon, or evening; what matters is that you’re able to devote this time to you. See if you can dedicate at least ten to twenty minutes solely to journaling.
    • You can answer just one question at a time or several in a single journaling session. It will just depend on the type of question and what kinds of answers it reveals within. (Just don’t rush it!)
    • If you find yourself straying from the question a little, that’s okay. You might be on the verge of discovering something within yourself you hadn’t realized before.
    • Finally, enact a “no self-criticism” rule while you’re journaling. Let’s say that as you write, you realize that you haven’t been making any positive movement toward your goals in the past six months. Don’t judge yourself here. Instead, choose to show yourself compassion, and acknowledge the fact that you’re making progress now.

    A manifestation challenge is a challenge set for a specific amount of time that’s dedicated to helping you manifest anything you want in your life. Often, a manifestation challenge will last for 7, 14, or 30 days.

    In most manifestation challenges, you’ll find a variety of activities dedicated to helping you release limiting beliefs, raise your vibrations, and align you with the feelings of already having everything you desire.

    What is Manifestation?

    To manifest something means to visualize your dreams and desires and to vibrate at the frequency of your desires as if they’ve already come true. So if you want to attract abundance, become the embodiment of abundance right now. If you want to attract love, allow yourself to feel loved now. Like attracts like, so when you choose to feel these positive emotions throughout your day, you’ll attract more of this to you.     Common Components of a Manifestation Challenge

    Visualization

    Often, a manifestation challenge will include some kind of visualization element. It may instruct you to visualize a day in your dream life or to visualize the moment all your dreams come true. A visualization exercise is powerful because it not only allows you to set an intention for what you want to manifest, but it also lifts your vibrations.

    The key to a successful visualization practice? Don’t just see the details play out in your mind; allow yourself to feel all the high-vibe emotions of having your desires right now. When you do this, you directly connect yourself to the experience of having the thing(s) you desire, becoming a magnet for your dreams to manifest in your reality.

    Did you know your brain can’t actually tell the difference between the powerful visualization and reality? It has the same activity whether you’re physically doing the action or envisioning it in your mind. That’s why elite athletes and performers often commit hours solely to visualization.     Gratitude

    Gratitude is the highest vibration you can offer. Instead of focusing on what’s going wrong, it allows you to focus on what’s going right. Another instant vibration booster! In a manifestation challenge, you can practice gratitude by writing down what you’re grateful for and noticing things to feel thankful for throughout your day.

    Positive Affirmations

    Positive affirmations are present-tense statements that are designed to uplift and encourage while boosting self-belief and supporting your overall wellbeing. I am worthy is an example of a positive affirmation. So is, I have what it takes to succeed. There are truly an infinite amount of positive affirmations you can use to support your manifestations. In a manifestation challenge, use positive affirmations to lift your vibrations. They’ll also remind you of your inner power to create anything you want in this life.

    Scripting

    Scripting is the act of writing your dreams and desires in a story-like form. It’s similar to visualization, except instead of solely envisioning your dreams in your mind’s eye, you’re using pen and paper to write down what exactly it is that you want to manifest. The key to making scripting work is to treat it like you’re writing a story that’s already come true. Write only in past and present tense, as if every single one of your dreams is happening or has already happened.

    Limiting Beliefs

    A limiting belief is a deep-seated belief that holds you back from realizing your true potential and living the life of your dreams. In a manifestation challenge, there will often be at least one day dedicated to releasing limiting beliefs. So what exactly should you do?

    I like to make two columns on a piece of paper. For the heading of the first column, I write, “Limiting Beliefs I’m Releasing.” Under this column, I write down all the limiting beliefs that are holding me back. At the top of the next column, I write “New Reframed Belief.” Here, I take all the limiting beliefs I just wrote and turn them on their head. 

    So if I wrote, “I’m not talented enough,” in the first column, then in the second column, I’d write, “I am absolutely talented enough. I have what it takes to thrive. I’m more than enough.” (As you can see, I like to get descriptive in the second column!)

    Highest Self

    Your highest self is your essential self; it’s the eternal part of you that’s untouched by human experiences. This is the truest, most authentic part of you.

    In a manifestation challenge, you may receive directions to align with your highest self.

    To do this, first spend some time thinking about your highest self. Who is your truest, most authentic self? It might help to write down everything that comes to mind.

    Then, spend the day aligning with your highest self. In any situation, you can ask yourself, what would my highest self do? How would my highest self react? What choice would my highest self make? Would my highest self be critical or compassionate? Would my highest self worry about the future or trust that everything will work out?

    Whenever you feel misaligned, simply choose to realign with your highest self, over and over again if needed.

    What is abundance?

    For most of my life, I associated abundance with something that existed outside of myself. A life of pure abundance meant I’d have more than enough external “things” to survive and thrive.

    An abundance of food meant I’d have more than enough food to feed my family. An abundance of space to live in meant I’d have more than enough space for myself and my loved ones to live. And an abundance of money meant having more than enough money to live comfortably and financially support others.

    Even an abundance of the intangible things seemingly resulted from the tangible. The intangible includes an abundance of happiness, freedom, peace, creativity, and love.

    An abundance of happiness, I believed, would come when I worked in the career of my dreams and had everything I ever wanted.

    And an abundance of freedom would come when I had enough money to live the life I desired.

    And an abundance of love would come when I met someone who loved me unconditionally and when I had a large community of people to love me at all times.

    What I’ve learned in my journey is this:

    I had it backwards all along.

    Abundance isn’t something that purely exists outside of me; abundance exists within.

    And this is true for you, too.

    You are deeply connected to an eternally abundant Universe. True freedom comes by understanding that the abundance you seek exists within.

    You don’t gain freedom through gaining financial affluence from external forces. You become free when you realize you have all the affluence you’re looking for inside you. And when you’re able to cultivate a feeling of true affluence and prosperity within, you’ll start seeing more of it in your outside world.

    This is true for every intangible and tangible thing you’ve ever desired. You already possess the power to have everything you’ve ever dreamed of and more. When you cultivate true joy, love, peace, passion, purpose, and freedom inside yourself, you’ll see these things reflected back to you in your outside world.

    How often do you pause in the middle of the day to simply talk to the Universe?

    For a long time, the idea of speaking to the Universe felt like a strange, foreign idea to me. Even as I grew deeper in my spiritual journey, I had learned how to accept and receive love from the Universe, and I had found a way to communicate with a higher power through visualization, but rarely did I actually speak out loud to the Universe.

    When I did finally start speaking to the Universe, it was usually when I was at my lowest and was looking for some kind of guidance. But in time, I started talking to the Universe more often throughout my day, and now, it’s rare that I don’t speak aloud to a higher power at least once a day.

    Sometimes, I pause to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for all that I have.

    Other times, I might ask for guidance when I’m in the midst of uncertainty.

    And often, I just speak without needing or expecting an immediate answer. For instance, a couple months ago, I was experiencing a period in which I was feeling lost and uninspired. I felt like I didn’t have the words to share to help people; I wasn’t sure if I had anything meaningful or of value to offer the world.

    So I laid down on the couch and started talking to the Universe:

    “I feel like something has been missing this week. I feel like I don’t have the right words to help people right now. I’ve been feeling off. And I realize that’s okay. I don’t have to label that as good or bad. It just is. Maybe if I stop labeling it as bad, I’ll see that in some ways, this experience is a gift.”

    I paused after I finished speaking and almost laughed at the irony of it all; in 20 seconds of slowing down and speaking to the Universe, I’d found words more profound and meaningful than in a week of struggling to find inspiration outside myself.

    In any moment, you can choose to slow down, step back, and communicate with the Universe. Below, I’ll discuss the ways you can ask the Universe for a sign as well as some of the ways you know the Universe is speaking back to you.

    How to Ask the Universe for a Sign

    Speaking to the Universe and asking for a sign is a deeply personal experience. Ultimately, the best way to ask for a sign is to do what feels best to you, regardless of what someone else does or doesn’t do.

    Below, I discuss two ways to ask the Universe for a sign. The first way is to ask for a specific sign. For instance, you might ask to see a butterfly sometime during the day to show you that you’re on the right path. The second way is to ask for any sign and trust your intuition to recognize the sign when it comes.

    Neither way is better or worse than the other; it’s simply about what feels best for you.

    No matter which way you choose to ask for a sign, remember that this practice isn’t about getting the answer you want; it’s about getting the answer you need. As Gabrielle Bernstein writes, “Asking for a sign means that you’re willing to collaborate with the Universe. It means that you’re committed to releasing structure and control to instead be led by a power greater than you. “

    That means accepting that the sign you receive may not be what you were hoping for. This can be difficult at first, especially when you’re in the thick of your emotions, but I can tell you this from my experience: every single time I haven’t gotten what I wanted, it’s because the Universe was leading me somewhere better.

    Every. Single. Time.

    So the best thing you can do for yourself is to release your attachment to the outcome and simply trust the Universe to guide you exactly where you’re meant to be.

    How to Ask the Universe for a Sign

    How to Ask for a Sign: Asking for a Specific Sign

    The first way to ask for a sign is to ask for a specific sign. As I mentioned above, this might mean asking to see a butterfly or another animal or creature during the day. You can ask to see something completely random that you don’t normally see, like an origami swan or a white feather.

    It doesn’t matter what you ask for as long as it feels right to you.

    The key to this practice is to not manipulate the outcome. For instance, don’t ask to see the numbers “111” and then stare at the clock until it’s 1:11. Or if you know there’s going to be rain, don’t ask to see a rainbow and then stand outside, staring at the sky the entire evening. Because chances are, even if you do see it, it won’t feel as meaningful as if the sign had come naturally.

    So how exactly do you start the process of asking for a specific sign?

    Choose a time and place when you feel safe, comfortable, and undistracted. If it feels right, you can close your eyes. Take a deep breath. You might choose to put your hand on your heart or to extend your hands in front of you with your palms facing the sky. Again, this is all about what feels best for you.

    Then, speak out loud your request:

    “Dear Universe, if I’m on the right path, please send me a white feather sometime in the next 24 hours.”

    You can also ask about a more specific situation:

    “Dear Universe, if I’m meant to take the job, please send me a seashell in the next 24 hours.”

    After you’ve asked, the key is to let go. Don’t obsess over whether you’ll see your sign, and as I said above, don’t manipulate the outcome.

    Trust your path, and trust your inner knowing to guide you.

    How to Ask for a Sign: Asking for a General Sign

    Whenever I ask for a sign, I usually take the path of asking for a more general sign and trusting my intuition to recognize the sign when it comes.

    The steps I wrote above are the same, except in this instance, I might say something like, “Dear Universe, please send me a clear, loving sign of alignment that I’m on the right path.” Or, “Dear Universe, please send a gentle, clear, loving sign in the next 24 hours that I’m meant to accept the job offer.”

    You can phrase this however you’d like. I always like to use adjectives like clear, loving, and gentle, and I might also add in a request that the sign brings harm to no one. You can play around with this and do what feels best for you.

    What to Do After You’ve Asked for a Sign

    So after you’ve asked for a sign from the Universe, what do you do?

    First, open your heart and your mind. Allow whatever comes forth to be, exactly as it is. Trust that whether or not you get your sign, it’ll be okay. The Universe is supporting you in every way possible.

    As you walk through your day, let go of any obsession over seeing the sign and simply walk forward in faith and trust. If I’ve asked for a sign and want to let go of my preoccupation with seeing the sign, I’ll choose to find things in my world to be grateful for. Gratitude becomes my anchor that keeps me grounded, centered, and at peace.

    And no matter what, whether or not the sign comes, I always say a little thank you to the Universe after. This is how I recognize that the Universe has my back – always.

    Common Signs and Synchronicities

    If you’ve asked for a more general sign from the Universe, you might wonder how exactly you’ll know when your sign comes. Below, you can find some common signs and synchronicities you might experience. For more, be sure to check out my blog post on signs and synchronicities here.

    Numbers

    Is there a certain number that has a special meaning to you? Seeing that number somewhere in your external world could be the sign you’ve been waiting for. You might also see a certain number sequence over and over again. If you see a specific number sequence that doesn’t have a particular meaning to you, I encourage you to look up the spiritual meaning of that number. For instance, “222” is often associated with sitting in faith and trusting that everything is working out for you. A number sequence could be the Universe’s way of communicating with you.

    Objects

    An object might be a toy, letter, article of clothing, picture, piece of jewelry, or anything that holds meaning to you. Did you have a favorite childhood book that you haven’t seen in years, and suddenly it’s in front of you in the used bookstore? This might be your sign. Or, if a book literally falls off a shelf in front of you (I’ve actually heard of this happening to someone, and the book completely changed her life), take this as your sign and receive the guidance the Universe is offering you.

    Symbols

    Feathers, trees, flowers, shapes, and mountains are just a few of symbols that might show up for you. For instance, if yellow tulips have a special meaning for you, seeing or receiving a yellow tulip could be the sign you’ve been waiting for.

    Songs

    A song title appears on your Spotify playlist that seems to be written just for you. An old song that reminds you of a certain friend comes on the radio. You hear a lyric of a song that speaks straight to your heart. Don’t write these moments off. Let them speak to you.

    Animals

    Does a certain animal show up for you in different places and times? It doesn’t have to be the actual physical presence of the animal. It could be a picture or a wood carving of the animal, or the image of the animal could randomly appear in your mind. (This has happened to me with eagles.)

    What to Do After You’ve Received Your Sign

    Did you receive the sign you were looking for?

    If you asked about a specific situation, such as whether you should accept a job offer, and you received a sign that indicates you should, then this is the time to take inspired action and accept the job.

    If you asked about a more general situation, such as whether you’re on the right path, and you’ve received a sign that you are, then keep going with what you’re doing. Walk forward in faith, trusting that everything is working out for you, just as it’s meant to.

    And if you didn’t receive the sign you were looking for? Know that it’s okay. This does not mean the Universe is ignoring you. Truthfully, every single time I haven’t received the answer I wanted, my inner knowing already knew the answer. And there lies your greatest power: your intuition.

    Because it’s very likely that your intuition already knows the right next step. Your intuition may have already known whether or not you’d receive the sign before you even asked.

    Your intuition is one of the ways the Universe speaks to you.

    Trust it to guide you forward.

    What Is A Manifestation Meditation?

    When I first meditating, I believed what many people believe when they’re new to meditation: that the purpose of meditation was to quiet my thoughts and eventually reach a point in which I didn’t think at all. A completely blank, clear mind was the goal, so I sat down each day and tried my best to focus on nothing but my inhale and exhale. When I found my thoughts wandering, I’d start to count my breaths, and I’d return to that count any time I realized I’d let my thoughts wander again.

    For months, I considered myself a failure for not being able to clear my thoughts. What I didn’t realize was that this process was actually teaching me mindfulness in a powerful way. (To learn more about what mindfulness is, click here!)

    Eventually, I started doing guided meditations using the InsightTimer app, and I was blown away by the vast amount of different types of meditations I discovered. What surprised me the most was that there were meditations that weren’t about clearing your mind at all; many took me through journeys of visualization, affirmations, self-observation, chakra healing, and more.

    One of the types of meditations I discovered in this experience was manifestation meditations. A manifestation meditation is a meditation specifically designed to align you with the positive thoughts and emotions of your dreams and desires, lifting your vibrations so that you become a magnet for all of your deepest dreams. This practice is a powerful way to get clear about what exactly it is that you want to manifest, lift your vibrations to match your desires, and let go of limiting beliefs and resistance within.

    Some of the core components of a manifestation meditation are visualization, affirmations, gratitude, and releasing your desires to the Universe. Below, I’ll discuss each of these core components in more detail. Then, I’ll give you step-by-step directions you can use to try your own manifestation meditation, plus I’ll provide some links to guided manifestation meditations on the InsightTimer app.

    What is Manifestation?

    To manifest something means to visualize your dreams and desires and to vibrate at the frequency of your desires as if they’ve already come true. So if you want to attract abundance, become the embodiment of abundance right now. If you want to attract love, allow yourself to feel loved now. Like attracts like, so when you choose to feel these positive emotions throughout your day, you’ll attract more of this to you.     Manifestation Meditation: Core Components

    Visualization

    Visualization is often the cornerstone of a manifestation meditation as it allows you to see in your mind’s eye exactly what it is that you want to manifest. Many guided meditations will take you through a day in your dream life; you’ll be able to visualize all the details of your ideal life, including the house you live in, who you’re surrounded by, and what you do during your day. The key to a successful visualization is to not only see the details play out in your mind but to feel all the high-vibe emotions of having your desires right now. When you do this, you directly connect yourself to the experience of having the thing(s) you desire, becoming a magnet for your dreams to manifest in your reality.

    Affirmations

    Positive affirmations aren’t always part of a manifestation meditation, but I find them to be a powerful way to lift my vibrations and align me with the uplifting feelings of already having what I desire. So what exactly are positive affirmations? A positive affirmation is a present-tense statement that’s designed to uplift and encourage while boosting self-belief and supporting your overall well-being. Below, you’ll find some examples of manifestation affirmations, and if you’re looking for more, I’ve linked to a few blog posts in the box below.

    • I have the freedom to create any future I want.
    • I choose what I become.
    • Anything I can imagine, I can create.
    • My life is filled with limitless abundance.
    • I am the abundant, loving energy I want to attract.
    • Everything I desire is making its way to me right now.
    • All that I’m looking for I can find within me.

    Gratitude

    Gratitude is the highest vibration you can offer. When you express sincere appreciation, you’re essentially telling the Universe, more of this please. In a manifestation meditation, you can express gratitude for what you already have as well as for what’s coming. This is the sentence I always come back to when it comes to gratitude and manifestation: the more you feel grateful, the more positive things you attract into your life to be grateful for.

    Letting Go

    To let go means that once you’ve set an intention and asked for what you want, you release your worries about when and how it’s going to happen and trust the Universe to deliver your desires to your reality. In meditation, I’ll sometimes visualize letting go by seeing my desire as a ball of light or a balloon. I release it into the Universe and watch it disappear into the sky. Once it’s gone, I sit back and trust that everything I want is already making its way to me right now.

    How To Do A Manifestation Meditation

    • Find a comfortable spot where you won’t be interrupted. Set aside at least 10 minutes to do this practice, though you can take more time if you’d like. You can sit cross-legged or on a chair with your feet on the ground. Relax your shoulders and open your chest so your heart center is open to receiving. Place your hands on your knees or thighs with your palms facing the sky (in receiving mode).
    • Spend a minute or two getting relaxed. Unclench your jaw and breathe into any tension you feel in your body. Then, breathe it out. Take a few deep, conscious inhales and exhales before letting your breath steady into a normal, comfortable rhythm.
    • What do you want to manifest? Bring it to the surface now. Visualize a perfect day in which all of your dreams and desires have already come true. Start with seeing yourself waking up. Where are you? How do you feel when you awaken for the day? Picture all the details of where you are, who you’re with, and what you do throughout your day. As you visualize, allow yourself to feel all of the positive emotions of having all your dreams and desires right now. If you want to manifest love, allow yourself to feel truly loved, protected, and cherished. If you want to manifest career success, allow yourself to feel successful, joyful, and thriving. Feel into these positive emotions in every cell of your being. You can even let a big or soft smile lift your lips if it feels right.
    • Finish your visualization by picturing yourself sitting or laying in bed at night. Breathe in gratitude for this beautiful life you’ve created. Feel grateful for all that you have and all that’s coming. Inhale gratitude and exhale it back into the world. Allow yourself to sit in sincere appreciation for a minute or two as you reflect on your beautiful life.
    • Repeat a few high-vibe affirmations that further increase your vibrations and align you with the positive feelings of having all your dreams and desires.
    • Finish your manifestation meditation by picturing yourself letting go. Visualize your desire as a balloon, a ball of light, a paper lantern, or anything else that feels right to you. Release it into the universe and see it flying up into the starry sky. Watch it until it disappears, then smile and lean into ease knowing that all of your dreams are on their way to you right now.

    Creating Your Vision Board

    A vision board is a collection of words and/or images that represent your highest self living your ideal life. You might choose to create a poster board filled with inspiring images cut out from magazines or printed from the internet. You could also create a vision board in a journal or write out your visions on a piece of paper. There are also apps like VisuApp that allow you to create portable vision boards on your phone. And one of the simplest ways to create a portable vision board is to create a designated album in your photo library and save inspiring images and words to it.

    However you decide to create your vision board, know that there’s no wrong or right way to start it as long as it feels true to you. That means choosing things that you truly want and not just what you think you’re supposed to want.

    When I’m first creating a new vision board, I like to begin with a list of categories to incorporate into the vision board. Common categories might include the following: Relationships, Career, Home, Health, Wealth, Spirituality, Fitness, Car, Self-Care, and Hobbies/Fun. Once I know my categories, I’ll include images, words, and quotes that represent each category.

    One of my favorite additions to any vision board is including inspirational, high-vibe vision board affirmations and quotes surrounding the images. For a portable vision board, I might save empowering quotes and affirmations to the vision board album on my phone. And when I create a vision board on paper or poster board, I’ll write inspirational words to the sides of the images to remind myself that I am worthy, powerful, and more than enough.

    What is Manifestation?

    Manifestation is the practice of visualizing your dreams and desires and vibrating at the frequency of your desires to attract more of what you want into your daily experience. It’s based on the idea that what you put out into the universe is what you receive in return.

    So if you’re constantly complaining that nothing ever works out for you and viewing your life from a perspective of scarcity and lack, you receive more of the vibrations you’re emitting: more scarcity, more lack.

    But if you believe that everything is always working out for you and that you live a life of pure abundance, you attract more success and abundance into your daily experience.

    Feel joyful. Attract more joyful experiences into your life.

    Feel gratitude and appreciation. Attract more wonderful people, experiences, opportunities, and things to be grateful for.

    Now, I’ll admit: this kind of simplifies manifestation in a way that isn’t always healthy. Why? Because it makes it seem as though manifestation should be just that easy. In theory, it is that easy, but when you’re first starting out, it often requires a journey of inner child healing, understanding your limiting beliefs, and cultivating self-compassion and self-love, two concepts we often struggle with.

    Even worse, it may make you believe you need to suppress negative thoughts and only think positively, which may cause you to fall into the trap of toxic positivity. To be clear, manifestation is not about suppressing negative feelings and thoughts. This was what I believed when I first started out, and it left me feeling constantly anxious and insecure. When we suppress negativity, the negative energy doesn’t just go away; it becomes trapped in our body, resulting in energy imbalances within.     Manifestation Tips

    Manifestation Tip #1: Live “As If”

    This is one of my favorite manifestation tips because it is rooted in the idea that you get to feel pure joy and happiness today (and every day).

    Think about all of your most beautiful dreams and desires. Now, imagine how you’ll feel the day all of your dreams come true. What positive feelings will blanket your life? Joy? Peace? Freedom? Whatever it is, get in touch with those emotions.

    Then bring those emotions back to the present moment, and live your daily life as if all of your dreams and desires have already come true. How do you feel when you wake up in your dream life? What are the first thoughts you have in the morning? How do you interact with the world around you? What kinds of things do you do during your day?

    Manifestation is all about vibrating at the frequency of your desires, and there’s no better way to do that than to live each day as if all of your dreams have already come true. When you do this, you become a magnet for everything you could ever dream of (and more).

    You can start right now by taking a deep breath and releasing any tension you feel in your body. Align with the person you imagine yourself to be: the person who is living the life of his or her dreams. Become that person. And if you find yourself misaligned and not living as if? That’s okay! Simply choose in that moment to realign with your highest self. And as you keep choosing, it will become easier and easier, so eventually, you no longer have to remind yourself anymore; you just are.

    Manifestation Tip #2: Express Gratitude Frequently

    There is no vibration higher than that of gratitude and appreciation. Gratitude ties in with abundance, as when you choose to view your life from a perspective of gratitude, you’re able to see all that you have rather that focusing on what you don’t have.

    When you express gratitude, you’re essentially telling the universe, more of this please.

    More joy. More love. More peace, freedom, and abundance.

    This also directly ties in to the idea of living as if. If you’re constantly living in lack, waiting for something to happen and focusing on its absence, you disconnect yourself from the experience of having that thing. But when you live as if your dreams have already come true, you feel true gratitude and appreciation for this life of your dreams.

    And because of this, you’re no longer searching for that thing out there; it’s within. And when it’s within, you’re directly connected to that thing.

    Connect yourself to the life of your dreams by expressing sincere gratitude and appreciation for the abundance that already exists within.

    Manifestation Tip #3: Release the How

    This is one of the biggest obstacles to manifesting your dreams because it’s so easy to get caught in the trap of trying to figure out how your manifestation is going to happen.

    For instance, say you want to manifest a million dollars. In your head, you’re already playing out the scenarios of how your million dollars will come to you. You narrow it down to two options: win the lottery or win a reality TV game show. You’re not a big fan of the game show idea, so you figure you have to try to win the lottery. It’s the only possible option, you think. So you go out and buy lottery tickets every single day, growing more frustrated every time you don’t win.

    This is the problem a lot of us face; we get tunnel vision, thinking our options for manifesting our dreams are limited, and because of this, we miss opportunities and signs from the universe that are right in front of us if we’d just step back and widen our perspective.

    So what should you do? Release the idea that you need to know how it’s going to happen. Trust that the universe is working behind the scenes to make all your dreams and desires come true. Meanwhile, your job is simple: live a joyful life, express gratitude, find uplifting ways to raise your vibrations, and if you hear your inner knowing telling you to do something, take inspired action and follow it. This inner knowing is a gentle nudge from the universe pointing you to your dreams. It may not be the path that you expected, but if you surrender and let go of the how, it will likely be even better.

    Manifestation Tip #4: Give to Receive

    The more good you put out in the world, the more good you receive in return.

    Often, when we think about giving, we first think about money and donations. And this is definitely one of the ways you can give. If you feel inspired to tip your waiter or barista an extra $20, or donate to a really great charity that resonates with you, this is absolutely a powerful way to manifest more good vibes your way. When you give money to another from a place of sincerity, you’re not only spreading kindness, but you’re telling the universe that you trust that money will always come back to you, so you don’t have to hold on tightly to what you have.

    Money isn’t the only gesture of kindness you can give, though. Smiling at a stranger is a form of giving. So is texting someone out of the blue just to let them know you’re thinking about them. Time is also a powerful thing to give to another. Do you know someone who is struggling? Does a friend need help studying for a big test? Give them your time without expecting anything in return.

    Now, I do want to note this: only give when it feels good to you. Don’t force or pressure yourself to give because you think you have to, especially if deep down, you feel any resentment towards giving. When you do this, you may be emitting negative vibrations, so you’re not actually helping yourself to manifest what you want. Release the pressure on yourself, let go, and allow the perfect moment to unfold instead of forcing yourself into it.

    Manifestation Tip #5: Set Specific Intentions

    This is actually one of the first things you want to do, and while it may seem obvious, it can often be overlooked.

    In order to manifest your dreams, you first need to know what exactly it is that you want to manifest. It’s like placing an order at a restaurant. You assess your options, decide what you want, place your order, then sit back and wait for it to be served to you.

    Manifestation is the same. To manifest something, you must place your order with the universe, telling it exactly what it is that you want. Visualization, journaling, and simply talking to the universe are all powerful ways to do this.

    Often, this is actually less of a problem for beginners and can be more of an issue for experienced manifestors. Why? Because they’ve been doing it for so long, they may lose sight of their intentions. That’s why it’s important to realign with your intentions every once in a while. You don’t have to place your order again since it’s already been placed. Just make sure that you’ve set clear intentions with the universe and return to that better-feeling state of having everything you desire.     Manifestation Tip #6: Cheer on Others

    It’s very likely that you know others who are also working on manifesting their dreams. And you may even know someone who has a dream similar to yours.

    Maybe you want to manifest the love of your life, and so does one of your closest friends.

    Or maybe you want to make it as a singer, and you know others singers who are trying to make it, too.

    There’s a chance that you may know someone whose manifestations appear before yours. That friend could meet the love of her life, or one of your singer friends could sign a big contract.

    In those moments, it can be easy to fall into a scarcity mindset. You may think that’s one less spot for you to succeed, or you may grow frustrated at what you perceive as lack or scarcity in your life.

    This can be a normal human reaction, but I gently urge you: don’t do this.

    When you take this manifestation journey, walk forward knowing in your heart that there is always space for you in the life of your dreams. Trust that this dream has been placed in your heart for a reason.

    When you see someone succeed, cheer them on, knowing their success has no effect on your own (and vice versa).

    You can also view each success story as a sign that your manifestation is on its way. Did someone in your state win a big amount of money in the lottery? Take it as a sign that financial prosperity is on its way to you. Did your best friend just get engaged? Trust and believe that your love story is coming.

    Turn the old stories about lack and scarcity into new stories of prosperity and abundance.

    Manifestation Tip #7: Let It Go

    This may be one of the hardest parts of manifestation: letting it go.

    To let it go means that once you’ve placed your order with the universe, you release your worries about when and how it’s going to happen. Simply trust that it will happen, and begin to live as if.

    I’ll fully admit, this can be easier said than done, especially when you’re first starting out. It’s easy to get impatient as you start to wonder when everything will finally work out for you. You may try to get a move on with your manifestations by buying lots of lottery tickets or going to coffee shops in your best outfit to stage your own meet cute. And when it doesn’t happen as quickly as you want it to, you may give up and decide that manifestation doesn’t actually work.

    That’s why letting it go is so important. Don’t worry about the timeline. Don’t try to force something that doesn’t feel right. Know that the universe is doing the hard stuff, and instead of focusing on your external world, focus on your inner world.

    Create an inner world so peaceful, patient, and calm, it spills into your outer world and creates something beautiful.

    Manifestation Tip #8: Gently Probe Negative Thoughts & Emotions

    So here’s where we get back to what I said in the intro. If I had to name my biggest obstacle when I first began manifesting, it was this: I (wrongly) believed that high vibrations and emitting a positive frequency meant that I had to be upbeat and positive all the time. Because of this belief, I thought I had to suppress negative emotions and pretend they weren’t there.

    Rather than manifesting the life of my dreams, I found myself in a pit of constant anxiety, worried that every bit of negative energy was going to ruin my manifestations and bring horrible things into my experience.

    Eventually, I became frustrated, because sometimes, I wanted and needed to feel those negative emotions. I was tired of trying to be perfect and suppressing everything.

    With time, I learned that there’s a difference between having a fixed negative mindset as opposed to sometimes experiencing negative thoughts and emotions.

    Having a fixed negative mindset means constantly complaining, believing that only bad things happen to you, and viewing life from a perspective of scarcity; nothing you have is ever enough.

    Experiencing a negative thought or emotion once in a while means you’re human. If you’re reading this right now, I’m guessing this is you. You believe in yourself and your dreams. You express gratitude for all that you have rather than complaining about what you don’t have. You just have bad moments, sometimes even bad days, once in a while. (And truthfully, I’m not sure I like the label of bad, because you may see that these moments and days are actually serving and supporting your growth).

    When you have these moments, don’t fight it. Don’t try to pretend it doesn’t exist for the sake of false positivity.

    Instead, acknowledge it. Fully. And then, allow yourself to gently probe it. Where is this source of negative energy coming from? Is it from an external source (i.e. something someone said) or something that’s been building within? Would it help to write it all out and release it on paper? What does your soul need in this moment? And can you trust that even though you’re feeling some negative energy right now, the universe still has your back and everything is always working out for you?

    Instead of criticizing yourself for the negativity, speak to yourself the way the universe would speak to you: with unconditional love and compassion.

    Also, remember that having a negative thought doesn’t make it true. I sometimes still have reactionary thoughts about myself in which I criticize or put myself down without thinking. But I know that in every moment, I have the power to step back, probe the thought, and ask, “Is it true?” And when I realize it isn’t, I also have the power to choose a new, better feeling thought that aligns with my truth.

    Manifestation Tip #9: Embrace Your Morning Routine

    One of the biggest game changers for me has been developing a consistent morning routine that supports my mind, body, and spirit.

    Every morning, I journal for 30 minutes with a hot cup of coffee by my side. Then, I meditate. After my meditation, I eat breakfast and then work out. On rest days, I’ll usually go out on a morning walk around the neighborhood. (Unless it’s a Sunday and my body tells me it wants to lay on the couch reading a book all morning . . . then, I listen to my body!)

    My morning routine isn’t anything overly complicated, but it helps me to set a solid foundation for the day. In my journaling, I always express gratitude and lift myself up with high-vibe affirmations. I also take the time to set my intentions for the day, and I even write what I want to manifest that day. (This doesn’t have to be anything big! I might decide to manifest an inspired idea, a joyful moment, a good conversation, or a sign from the universe).

    A morning routine can be a powerful tool in manifestation because it allows you to take some time for yourself in the morning to align with the feelings of your dreams and desires. Rather than hurrying through your morning with anxious thoughts, you can take a deep breath and assert that everything will work out perfectly for you.

    Now, I fully admit that a 2-hour morning routine is easier for me than many people because I (a) am a morning person and love to wake up early; (b) work for myself; and (c) don’t have kids. So if you feel like you’re too busy in the morning for a full-on morning routine, that’s okay! See if you can take 60 seconds to cultivate a positive mindset for yourself. This might mean simply closing your eyes and breathing consciously for 60 seconds; reciting positive affirmations in the shower; or expressing gratitude as you get ready for work. If you have a couple minutes, you could write three things you’re grateful for, three positive affirmations, and your daily intention in a notebook.

    However your morning routine looks, know that the length of your routine matters less than your ability to align with the positive thoughts and vibrations you want to emit during the day.

    Manifestation Tip #10: Practice Self-Compassion Daily

    I think this might be one of the most overlooked aspects of manifestation, but it’s critical not only in manifesting the life of your dreams but in cultivating unconditional self-love and self-belief.

    Like I said above, you’re human. And I’m guessing that as a human, you probably aren’t perfect. None of us are. You may experience times when you find it difficult to maintain a positive attitude. You may find yourself growing impatient and frustrated because your manifestation hasn’t yet shown up in your reality. You may realize that a part of you is skeptical that any of this can truly work for you.

    And that’s okay.

    The worst thing you can do in this moment is judge or criticize yourself for the thoughts and feelings you’re experiencing.

    Instead, treat yourself with self-compassion. Tell yourself, “I am doing the best I can, and my best is enough.” And more than anything, acknowledge that even though you are imperfect and flawed, you are worthy of unconditional love. Accept love from yourself. Accept love from others. Accept the universe’s perfect love for you.

    Because you are always, always worthy of love.

    This is how you manifest the life of your dreams: not through self-criticism but through self-love. Not through self-judgment but through self-compassion.
