How To Manifest Something: 10 Manifestation Methods
In this post, learn how to manifest something using 10 tested and proven manifestation methods—including the manifestation blueprint for manifesting your deepest, most heartfelt desires.
How To Manifest Something
Manifestation is, in its purest form, creation. You’re always manifesting things and experiences into your life because you’re always creating. In fact, being a creator is part of the very foundation of who you are.
And often, when you step back and look at your life, you’ll find that your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.
Once we understand this, we can begin to cultivate an inner world that matches what we want to see in our outer world. This is when we turn unconscious manifestation into intentional manifestation.
To intentionally manifest something means to visualize your dreams and desires and to vibrate at the frequency of your desires as if they’ve already come true. Like attracts like, so when you choose to feel the positive emotions related to already having your desires, you’ll attract more of this good-feeling thing to you.
So how does this work?
Let’s say you dream of finding your soulmate.
Step back and consider why it’s so important for you to find this person. How do you imagine this person will make you feel? Maybe you imagine that they’ll make you feel loved, cherished, and protected. Okay. So now you decide you want to manifest this person.
In order to manifest your soulmate, you want to begin imagining what it would look and feel like to have this person in your life.
Visualize how a day in your life will look like with them in it. That feeling of being loved, cherished, and protected?
You don’t have to wait until you meet your soulmate to begin experiencing those feelings.
You can allow yourself to feel loved, cherished, and protected today.
Imagine that you’re a magnet. Everything you put out into the universe is exactly what you attract to you (remember, like attracts like). So if you emit the vibration of being loved, cherished, and protected right now (and allow yourself to truly feel all the positive emotions related to these feelings), you’ll attract more experiences that will make you feel loved, cherished, and protected in your outer world.
Truly, this starts with loving yourself and treating yourself the way you want your ideal partner to treat you. What’s really beautiful about this process is that you’ll be so busy cultivating unconditional self-love, you won’t even worry about when your soulmate will finally show up.
And that’s exactly when your manifestation will come true—when you’re so busy loving your life now that you don’t need external factors to bring you joy, peace, and love. When you realize that everything you’ve been seeking is within you.
This is, in essence, the basis of manifestation:
“What you think, you create. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you become.”
So at its very core, if you want to manifest something, become the energy of what you want to manifest.
But that’s just the beginning. Below, I’m going to take you through 10 tested and proven manifestation methods.
Be sure to pay special attention to the first method, as that’s really the answer to how to manifest something. Adding the other nine methods to this process will support your journey and amplify your manifestation power.

1. The Manifestation Blueprint
The reason why so many people struggle with manifestation is that they don’t understand how it truly works. They treat manifestation like a game, but manifestation is actually an art. And there’s a very specific blueprint you can follow to manifest what you really want in your life:
- First, you set an intention based on the authentic, deeply felt dreams that have been placed in your heart.
- You communicate this intention to the Universe. Your positive vibrations are one way of communicating this intention, as by vibrating at the frequency of your desires, you express that you’re ready to receive more of this good-feeling thing.
- The Universe works behind the scenes to set everything in motion. It communicates back to you in the form of signs, synchronicities, and most importantly, your own intuition. Being in the vibration of what you desire allows you to receive these signs and inner nudges with clarity. (In contrast, being in a state of stress, worry, and anger will cause you to miss these signs and feelings.)
- Then, you take inspired action based on the communication the Universe has given you.
- This communication between you and the Universe continues. The Universe sends you signs (often through your innate intuition), and you follow your intuition by taking aligned action. Essentially, once the Universe communicates what to do, you do that thing. You may not see what the whole path looks like from the very beginning, but you’ll be given guidance as you continue to move forward. There’s a really beautiful quote by Rumi that I think describes this perfectly: “As you start to walk on the way, the way appears.”
- As you follow this path, you’ll begin to see your dream manifest into your reality. Keep following the nudges. Keep taking inspired action. And stay in the vibration of your dreams and desires so you can receive divine guidance when it comes.
This is why manifestation is an art, not a game. It isn’t about “beating” the Universe. It’s about co-creating with the Universe. And if you can master this, you can master manifestation.
2. Visualization
Visualization is key in transforming your dreams from abstract ideas in your head to tangible things you get to have and experience in your reality. In manifestation, visualization allows you to simulate the experience of already having your desires in the present moment. This is a profound practice to help you get clear about what you want and begin vibrating at the frequency of your desires today.
Meditation, vision boards, and scripting (more on that below) are a few practices that can help you visualize your dreams and desires.
Spend at least 10-15 minutes every day visualizing what your dream life looks and feels like to you. Remember not just to see this visualization in your mind’s eye but to feel the positive emotions tied to your manifestations as well.
Another important component of visualization is living as if. That means that as you go about your day, take a moment to step back and visualize the present moment as if you’re already living in your desired manifestation.
For instance, if you want to manifest your dream job, you can take a moment while you’re at your desk at work to visualize being at your dream job right now. How does that look? How does it feel to you? Continue to come back to this high vibration throughout the day.
3. The 55×5 Manifestation Method
The 55×5 Manifestation Method is one of my favorite journaling methods for manifesting. The guidelines are fairly straightforward: it simply requires you to choose an affirmation, then write down that affirmation 55 times in a row for 5 days straight.
The affirmation you choose will directly relate to the desire you want to manifest.
For example, let’s say you want to manifest money. Your affirmation might be, “I am so grateful I received $10,000 this week!”
So on Day 1, you’ll write “I am so grateful I received $10,000 this week!” 55 times in a row.
Then, on Day 2, you’d again write, “I am so grateful I received $10,000 this week!” 55 times in a row.
Days 3, 4, and 5—same thing.
The key here is that as you write your affirmations, you want to truly feel as though what you’re writing is actually true. If you did manifest $10,000, how would you feel? Would you feel grateful? Joyful? Abundant?
Allow yourself to feel those emotions now. But don’t just stop when you put down your pen. Continue to vibrate at the frequency of these positive feelings as you go about your day.
This is a great practice for truly uncovering your manifesting power. It helps you to articulate exactly what you want and sets a solid foundation for your day.
If you’re looking for help getting started, check out the 55×5 Manifestation Method Worksheet, which gives you the opportunity to print and handwrite your affirmations or type directly into the PDF editable document. This easy-to-use worksheet gets powerful results and is the perfect addition to your manifestation practice.
4. The 369 Method
The 369 Method has a similar setup to the 55×5 Manifestation Method with a few differences in how it’s carried out.
In the 369 Method, you choose an affirmation and write it down 3 times in the morning, 6 times in the afternoon, and 9 times in the evening. Do this for 21 days in a row.
As you write your affirmation, maintain high vibrations and make sure to be consistent. I also find it helpful to say my affirmation aloud throughout the day.
5. Scripting
Scripting is the practice of writing about your dreams and desires in story-like form, as if you already possess everything you want to manifest. It’s kind of like writing a journal entry, except instead of writing about your current life, you write about the life you want to live as if you’re already living it.
So if you want to manifest love, you might write about how you’re living with the love of your life in your dream home. When you do this, you only want to write in past or present tense.
For instance, if you’re writing in past tense, you might recount the day you met your partner. You could also write as though it’s the end of the day, and you’ve just had your first date with the perfect person.
If you write in the present tense, you could write about what a typical day looks like with the love of your life as you’re living it.
Truly, the possibilities are endless.
The key to making scripting work is to feel all the positive emotions of having your desires right now in this present moment.
So if you’re writing about how happy you are to spend your life with this perfect person, allow yourself to feel truly joyful and grateful for all that you have. Imagine what it will feel like to feel loved by this person, and allow yourself to feel those positive emotions now.
Insert gratitude throughout your script, and end it by thanking the Universe for delivering to you all your deepest dreams and desires.
I have a ton of resources dedicated to scripting on this website, so I’ve added links below that will provide you with examples, suggested sentence starters, and even a free PDF template to help you get started.
And if you want to get started with scripting today, be sure to check out 30 Perfect Days, a digital manifestation journal available in my online shop. 6. The Pillow Method For Manifestation
The Pillow Method For Manifestation is one of my personal favorites, as it feels as though you’re truly doing something magical when you complete this practice.
First, you want to take either a script you’ve written about your dream life (see #5 above) or a powerful manifestation affirmation that affirms you already have what you desire.
For instance, you might write “I am in my dream job, making a positive difference in people’s lives and doing what I love every single day.”
Once you have your script or affirmation written down, place it under your pillow. Before you go to bed, visualize your desired manifestation in your mind’s eye. Imagine having this desire right now, feeling all the positive emotions of your dreams coming true.
Let this be the last thing you think about before falling asleep, allowing it to sink into your subconscious brain. Continue this practice for about 7 to 10 days, or until it feels right to remove it.
7. Essential Oils For Manifesting
Manifesting oil is a blend of essential oils, herbs, and other natural sources that are specifically created to help you manifest your desires. Using these essential oils is a great way to enhance and amplify your manifestation practice.
I like to use manifesting oils on my scripts, journal entries, and manifestation affirmations. Manifesting oil can also be used on a specific object, such as cash, a love note, a candle, or even yourself.
One of my personal favorite ways to use it is by rubbing a little bit on my script or affirmation before I put it under my pillow if I’m doing the pillow method.
8. Gratitude
Gratitude ties in with abundance, as when you choose to view your life from a perspective of gratitude, you’re able to see all that you have rather that focusing on what you don’t have.
When you express gratitude, you’re essentially telling the Universe, more of this please.
More joy. More love. More peace, freedom, and abundance.
Connect yourself to the life of your dreams by expressing sincere gratitude and appreciation for the abundance that already exists within.
How do you do this? Here are a few ideas:
- When you wake up, think of three things you’re grateful for. You might also choose to write these things down in a gratitude journal.
- Anytime you feel out of sorts, take a step back. Look around your immediate environment. Focus on one thing in your surroundings to be grateful for. If you can’t find something outside of you, focus on something within.
- Stuck at a red light? Instead of expressing frustration, think of one to three things you’re thankful for in your life.
- Before you go to bed at night, think of three things that happened during the day that you truly appreciate.

9. Give To Receive
The more good you put out in the world, the more good you receive in return.
Do you want to manifest love? Give love to others. (And yourself.)
Do you want financial prosperity? Donate and give money when you feel called to.
Do you want unconditional happiness? Give your smile freely to others. Make someone’s day. Be a light in someone else’s world.
One way to intentionally practice this is to write a Giving List. Every morning, write down something you want to give that day. Remember, it doesn’t have to be a really big thing. Here are a few examples of something you might give:
- A compliment to a friend
- A smile to a stranger
- An extra $1 on your food delivery tip
- A kind gesture, like letting another car in or opening the door for someone.
Time is also a gift, so you might give the gift of your time to someone who’s feeling lonely.
I always like to note that you should only give when it feels good to you. Don’t force or pressure yourself to give because you think you have to, especially if deep down, you feel any resentment towards giving. When you do this, you may emit negative vibrations, so you’re not actually helping yourself to manifest what you want.
Release the pressure on yourself, let go, and allow the perfect moment to unfold instead of forcing yourself into it.
10. Surrender & Allow
There are several ways I could phrase this:
Surrender.
Trust.
Let go.
Allow.
There are two equal parts of manifestation: doing and being. This is actually directly tied to the Law of Gender, one of the 12 spiritual laws of the Universe. The Law of Gender states there are two types of energy: masculine and feminine. In order to live a fulfilling, joyful, purpose-driven life, we must achieve a balance between these two energies.
Masculine energy is tied to hustling, achieving, and doing. Feminine energy is tied to surrendering, allowing, and just being.
While many of the practices on this list are tied to your masculine energy, your feminine energy is just as important when it comes to manifesting.
What we often forget when it comes to manifestation is that you’re actually co-creating with the Universe. This means trusting that the Universe has your back. It also that means sometimes, you’re in the driver’s seat, and other times, you’re letting the Universe take the wheel.
So how exactly do you practice surrender and trust? Here are a few tips:
- Release the “how.” This is 100% the Universe’s job. You might think you know the best path to your dreams. You might also think there’s just no possible way your dream can come true. But I promise, the Universe will figure out the how, and it’s often in unexpected and surprising ways. Your job is to simply allow the Universe to work its magic. When it’s time for you to act, it’ll deliver a sign or a gentle nudge in the right direction to let you know.
- Listen to your own inner rhythm. Do you feel like you’re forcing something to happen? How does it feel? At its foundation, manifestation should feel really good. If you feel like you’re trying to force your dreams to come true, it may be time to take a step back. Let go and allow the Universe to take the wheel for a while.
As you move forward, keep this in mind:
Don’t worry about the timeline. Don’t try to force something that doesn’t feel right. Know that the Universe is doing the hard stuff, and instead of focusing on your external world, focus on your inner world.
Create an inner world so peaceful, patient, and calm, it spills into your outer world and creates something beautiful outside of yourself.

Chakra Healing Foods: A Complete Guide (w/ Chart)
In this post, discover healing foods for each of your body’s chakras, plus save and print a handy chakra foods chart so you can connect with each of your body’s main energy centers daily.
Chakra Healing
When you think of the effects that food has on your body, it’s likely that you immediately think of the physical impacts. Some foods are intrinsically better for your physical health than others. And through conscious food choices, you can incorporate food into your diet that might help you lose or gain weight and/or muscle.
But your food choices don’t just affect your physical self—they have a profound impact on your mental, emotional, and spiritual self as well.
In fact, your mind, body, and spirit are all affected every single day by your food intake in ways that you may not even see.
That’s why making intentional food choices that work with your internal energy is so important: because the effects extend beyond your physical self and have an impact on your entire well-being.
Below, you’ll find a list of healing foods for each of your body’s energy centers along with a handy chart you can print or save to your phone.
If you want to connect with a particular chakra, incorporate foods into your snacks and meals that correspond with that chakra. Be intentional with this practice.
For instance, if you’re connecting with your root chakra and decide to add sweet potatoes to one of your meals, set the intention to connect with your root chakra before you start eating.
As you eat, remain mindful of the energy in and around your root chakra. You might also internally recite some root chakra affirmations as you’re eating. (You can find links to affirmations for each of your body’s energy centers in the sections below.)
For an overview on all the chakras, you can check out my post on the chakra colors and meanings. You can also find the entire catalog of chakra articles on this site on this page.

The 12 Laws Of Karma Explained (A Complete Guide)
In this article, discover the true meaning of karma, plus learn what the 12 Laws of Karma are and how you can use them to create a life of genuine joy, purpose, passion, and fulfillment.
What Is Karma?
What do you think of when you heard the word karma?
For many of us, our first thought is the saying, “What goes around comes around.”
Often, this is said with a negative connotation. When you see or hear about somebody who lies, steals, or treats another with unkindness, you may say, “Karma will come back around and catch up with them.”
While this is one aspect of karma–and the central idea in the First Law of Karma (The Great Law)–there’s actually a lot more to the concept of karma than most of us realize.
In Sanskrit, the word karma means “action.”
When I have a good thought or do a good deed, this goodness has positive effects and ultimately comes back to me. When I have a bad thought or do something that I know is harmful, the negative effects will ultimately come back to me as well.
Good actions beget more goodness; bad actions beget more badness.
But it’s not just about good and bad.
Rather, the important thing is realizing that every action has meaning; everything you do and say contributes to the overall whole.
And most of the time, what we consider to be “good” or “bad” is subjective depending on our perspective and life experience. This is especially important to remember when it comes to events happening in your own life.
When you believe something bad is happening to you, it may be time to take a step back and evaluate your life with gentle and non-judgmental awareness.
What lessons might the universe be trying to teach you? Are you blaming others for what happens in your life, or are you able to take personal responsibility? Could there be any goodness to what you perceive as bad?
Rather than saying, “This bad thing is always happening to me,” you have the opportunity to turn it around and ask, “What can I learn from this experience?”

How To Use The 12 Laws Of Karma
You get to decide your personal relationship with these laws and how you’ll use them to guide your own life path.
But I do want to offer this advice:
Don’t view these laws as rules that are meant to tie you down or fit you into a box.
The word “law” may have a negative connotation for some, as you may view it as an unbending rule that prevents you from experiencing true freedom.
But the opposite is true here.
The 12 Laws of Karma are not meant to limit or constrict you; through their very nature, they’re meant to lead you to a life of joy, freedom, passion, purpose, and love.
These laws are designed to show you the road map to a beautiful and fulfilling life. They help you to live in the present moment and find joy in this moment right now, no matter what your external world may look like.
And they show you the way to creating meaningful change and living the life you’ve always desired: the beautiful and abundant life of your dreams.
So as you read through the 12 Laws of Karma, allow yourself to gently explore them with an open heart, receiving them as a loving gift from the universe. These laws are not meant to hinder you but rather to show you the path to true freedom and to a life filled with love, fulfillment, and abundance.
The 12 Laws Of Karma
The Great Law
The Great Law, also known as The Law of Cause and Effect, fits what most of us traditionally think of when we hear the word karma. Anyone familiar with manifestation and the Law of Attraction will also be familiar with the concepts presented in this law.
The foundation of the Great Law is the idea that whatever we put out into the world is what we get back. While you may think of this in terms of actions (i.e. if you see someone drop their wallet and pick it up to give back to them, this kindness will come back to you), it’s also important to view it in terms of energy.
The energy you put out into the world is what comes back to you, whether you’re conscious of it or not.
Say you wake up every morning feeling frustrated and annoyed that you have to go to work again today. The shower water is never hot enough, the other cars on your commute are always driving too slow, and everyone else seems to be getting raises and promotions but not you.
You have a scarcity mindset; no matter how much you have, it’s never enough. Because of this, you emit negative energy into the universe. And even though you don’t want to receive more negativity, that’s what you keep getting: more scarcity, more lack, more lukewarm showers and slow commutes.
But what if you changed your perspective? What if you stepped into the shower feeling grateful for the running water that keeps you clean? What if you focus on the fact that you have reliable transportation to get you to work? What if every time one of your coworkers got a raise or promotion, you cheered them on?
Things change once you start viewing your world from the perspective of gratitude and appreciation; you emit positivity into the world, and thus, you receive more positive energy in return.
Do you want abundance in your life? Become the embodiment of abundance. Do you want love? Start with showing yourself unconditional love, then share that love with the world around you. If you want something, become the embodiment of that thing, then watch as more of it flows into your life in beautiful and miraculous ways.

The Law of Creation
The first law flows effortlessly into this second law, and it’s likely you’ll quickly see how all of these laws are intertwined.
The Law of Creation states that you must take action to create the life you desire. You are a powerful creator, and you have the power to co-create your life along with the universe. But too often, we sit back, hoping things will work out but not actively doing anything about it. You must become an active participant in your story.
This doesn’t mean trying to control outcomes, forcing things to happen, or stubbornly staying on a path that doesn’t truly feel right for you.
Rather, it goes back to the idea of putting out the energy you want to receive. And it also means taking inspired action when your intuition leads you in a certain direction.
If you want to create abundance, first become abundance. Then, when you feel that nudge to take action, do so in a state of effortless flow. This is what co-creating is: setting an intention, telling the universe what you want, become the embodiment of what you want, and trusting the universe to lead you where you’re meant to go.
The Law of Humility
Are you able to accept responsibility for your past and current reality? For instance, let’s go back to the “hate your job” scenario. Let’s say that you’re in a position you don’t enjoy, and you haven’t received the promotion or raise you think you deserve. You enter the office with a bad attitude and leave with an even worse one.
Do you blame your boss or your coworkers for your unhappiness?
Is there someone else a few cubicles away who seems to be getting all of the rewards you want, and you blame his or her success for your failure?
The Law of Humility is all about accepting that you have created your current reality through actions, choices, and the energy you’ve emitted. It’s about not blaming others for everything that’s seemingly going wrong in your life but taking responsibility for your current place in life.
In order to change something, you must first accept it. So in order to change the circumstances of the job you don’t like, you must accept the role you’ve played in creating your current experience; through acceptance, you remove your blinders, embrace the truth, and are able to see what must change in order to create a life that you love.
The Law of Growth
Do you consider yourself a fixer? Do you good-intentionally try to change the people in your life in order to help them? When things are going badly, do you first try to change your external world (places, people, things) before looking internally?
The Law of Growth says that there is only one thing you truly have control over: yourself. If you want to make a positive mark on the world, don’t start with what you can do externally; start with what you can do internally. To change the world, start with changing yourself.
This doesn’t mean you have to become a different person. In fact, the opposite is true. The hardest part of growth often comes from removing everything that prevents you from connecting with the truest, most authentic you.
This also means that you may have to accept that you can’t change everything or everyone, even if you believe it would be in their highest good. Trust that if you focus on your own growth and your own path, you’ll illuminate the way for others. But it has to be their choice.
The Law of Responsibility
The Law of Responsibility links closely to the Law of Humility (and, in fact, all the laws I’ve discussed above).
Can you take responsibility for your current life circumstances, good and bad?
The Law of Responsibility states that rather than looking for external reasons and excuses for why something might be wrong in your life, you must look internally. Because it doesn’t start out there; it starts in here. In me. In you. In all of us.
It’s important to truly evaluate your life from a place of non-judgmental, conscious awareness. What’s going right? What’s going wrong?
Instead of looking outward for reasons why something might be going right or wrong, look inward. Know that this isn’t about judging or criticizing yourself. (In fact, I encourage you not to judge, berate, or criticize yourself.) It’s about taking responsibility for the choices you make, whether that be an action you’ve chosen to take or an energy you’ve chosen to emit.
The Law of Connection
The Law of Connection states that everything in the universe, and everything in your life, is connected: your past, present, and future.
No action or decision is insignificant because every action effects who you become. Your actions yesterday affect the person you are today, and your actions today affect the person you are tomorrow.
When I think of the Law of Connection, I like to think of the affirmation, “Every small step I take makes a big difference.”
I can use this website itself as an example. There are a lot of daily actions I take to maintain this website. There are also certain things I had to do only once or twice, like installing a certain plugin or uploading a picture for my author bio. I write and edit multiple blog posts a week and create dozens of Pinterest pins for my blog posts. I’ve changed the overall layout of the site several times, which is a task that can take a lot of time depending on the extent of my changes.
So is writing a blog post more important than installing a plugin? Is changing the layout more important than uploading an author bio picture?
According to the Law of Connection, no. Each step leads to the next step, and no step is more important than the other because they’re all connected. This is true for everything in our lives.
And this is true in terms of yourself, as well. You may think of some of your past days as being more important and consequential than others, but every single day you’ve experienced has created the person you are today. Everything is connected. Everything is important. Your past, present, and future are all intertwined and deeply connected to one another.
The Law of Focus
The Law of Focus states that you should focus on one thing at a time, and if your focus is on spiritual values, you will not have space in your life to focus on lesser feelings such as greed, jealousy, and anger.
What are spiritual values? They’re feelings and beliefs stemmed in love, peace, compassion, trust, and kindness: positive thoughts and emotions that welcome more of these positive feelings into your world. Ultimately, you decide your highest spiritual values and what feels true and right for you.
When you focus on feelings that allow you to be spiritually aligned, you have no room in your mind or heart for negative energy that doesn’t serve your mind, body, or spirit.
The Law of Giving & Hospitality
What do you believe in? What do you want most for the world? Do you have a vision of a world that is filled with peace and love? Do you believe in selfless kindness and generosity? Do you believe in connection over division and compassion over judgment?
This law is essentially the practice what you preach law. The Law of Giving & Hospitality calls on you to demonstrate what you believe in and become the embodiment of your genuine desires for this world.
If you envision a world filled with peace and love, give peace and love to yourself and others.
If you believe in selfless kindness and generosity, be selflessly kind and generous to all.
If you want to see a world connected in compassion and love, give this love and compassion and become connected to all.
Let your actions reflect your deepest and truest beliefs. If you want to see change in the world, become the change by giving what you seek.
The Law of Here and Now
The only thing that truly exists is this moment right now. The past is gone, and the future is not here. True inner peace comes from embracing the present moment.
The Law of Here and Now states that true peace of mind comes from living in the present moment, and you cannot embrace the present moment if you’re always looking back into the past or ahead into the future. Reliving the past prevents you from engaging with your life just as it is right now. And when you’re constantly focusing on the old, you’re unable to create the new.
When you find yourself replaying events of the past or worrying about the future, gently bring yourself back to the present moment. Use all of your senses to discover the world that exists right now. You might have a grounding mantra that helps, such as, “In this moment, I have everything I need.”
The Law of Change
Have you ever heard the phrase, “History repeats itself”? That concept is at the core of the Law of Change, which states that history will continue to repeat itself until you’ve learned the lessons you’re meant to learn and have taken actionable steps to change the pattern.
You might see this play out in all different parts of your life: relationships, career, and your own personal relationship with yourself. If you’re continually seeing the same cycles repeat themselves in your life, it’s worth stepping back and asking—what is the universe trying to teach me? Are there attachments, connections, beliefs, or old stories I’m not letting go of? Is there an intuitive knowing deep inside me that I keep ignoring?
Change can be scary sometimes, but when you embrace change and start on a new path, you open yourself to experiencing genuine joy, fulfillment, and growth.
The Law of Patience and Reward
The Law of Patience and Reward is rooted in the belief that consistency, patience, and continuing to show up day after day, even when you don’t see the rewards today, will bring true joy, peace, and fulfillment.
I think of this as the law of no overnight successes.
To help myself in moments when I begin to feel impatient, I think back to my marathon training program. When I signed up for my first marathon, I knew I wouldn’t be able to suddenly run 26.2 miles overnight. So I created a training program in which I ran 4 days a week with 3 rest days.
Each week, over the course of 14 weeks, I slightly increased my long runs and overall mileage by a mile or two. On the day of the marathon, I trusted that my consistency, effort, and patience in the process would pay off. And you know what? It did. Four hours and thirty-two minutes later, I crossed the finish line, my first full marathon complete.
Now, this can be a little different from other scenarios that require consistency and patience. While I had an exact date to work toward for my marathon, you might be working on a goal in which you have no idea when you’ll see the rewards of your effort. And that’s okay. Just know that showing up for yourself day after day and being consistent in your efforts is always worth it.
Meanwhile, don’t wait for all of your dreams to manifest in your reality before you allow yourself to experience true joy. Feel joyful now knowing that you are on the path, aligned with your purpose and passion, and exactly where you’re meant to be in this moment.
The Law of Significance and Inspiration
You matter. Your voice matters. Your presence matters. You were born with specific goals and talents that only you possess. Only you have lived your unique experiences. And that dream that’s in your heart? It’s there for a reason.
The Law of Significance and Inspiration states that every single one of us contributes to the greater whole. We all play a part in contributing to the highest good of the world.
And what you’re doing? It matters. When you put your heart into something and contribute your gifts and talents with wholehearted love, you are creating a ripple effect that you probably can’t even see.
You’re lifting up others and inspiring others to follow their hearts, too.
And the more positive energy and loving intentions you put into your contribution, the more you’re not only contributing to the highest good for all, but to yourself as well. You will get back all of this positive energy in ways you can’t even imagine.
So know that everything you do matters. Your purpose and your gift matter.
You matter. More than you know.

10 New Moon Rituals For Manifestation & Self-Love
In this article, discover 10 profound new moon rituals for connecting with your innermost self, letting go of what no longer serves you, and planting seeds of abundance in your inner and outer worlds.
New Moon Symbolism
Like the moon, we go through our own cycles and phases. Sometimes, we feel vibrant and energized, shining our light fully. Other times, we need to go inward and get in touch with our innermost selves for a little while.
The new moon offers an opportunity for just this: a chance to go within, refresh, let go, and start anew.
You might think of the new moon as a cosmic reset. During this time, you can check in with yourself. Are you aligned with your purpose? Are you holding onto anything you need to let go of? Are there any new habits or rituals you can start incorporating into your daily routine to support your mind, body, and soul? What is your heart telling you about your path?
The new moon offers a beautiful opportunity for any and all of these practices:
- Setting intentions for who you want to be, what you want to manifest, and how you want to show up in your daily life
- Connecting to your deepest dreams and desires
- Releasing what no longer serves you to make space for new beginnings
- Cleansing old and stagnant energy
- Embracing your ability to co-create with the Universe
- Honoring the light and love that flows to and through you in all moments
Below, you’ll find 10 profound new moon rituals for connecting to your inner self, letting go of what no longer serves you, and planting seeds for your dreams and desires to take root.
Every new moon, see if you can incorporate at least two or three of these rituals into your routine.
Use the magic of the new moon to create something truly beautiful in both your inner and outer worlds.
New Moon Rituals
Plant Seeds Of Intention
This is one of my personal favorite new moon rituals, as you can complete this practice either through visualization or by actually planting physical seeds where, in time, you can watch them grow.
In this ritual, you’ll be planting three seeds that represent the intentions you want to set for the next month. I usually complete this as a visualization meditation, but there’s also something special about planting three physical seeds and watching them grow and thrive over time (just like your intentions).
Take the first seed and imagine yourself gently planting it in the earth in front of you. (Or actually plant it in the soil.) See your intention manifesting in your reality, and feel the positive emotions associated with this dream coming true. Express gratitude to the Universe for supporting you in your dreams.
Repeat this with the second seed, planting another intention in the earth in front of you. Finally, repeat this process with the third seed.
Once all your intentions have been planted, release them to the Universe. Feel peace, love, and abundance filing every cell of your being. End this ritual by expressing more sincere gratitude
Write A New Moon List
In a sacred space (or somewhere that allows you to truly connect with your inner self), take some time to consider your innermost dreams and desires. What is your heart telling you? What does your soul truly need?
Here are some topics you might want to include in your list. Consider your list to be a way of communicating with your highest self and the Universe. You might even read your list items aloud under the night sky.
- Everything you want to manifest in the next month
- Everything you’re releasing
- What you’re grateful for
- The primary feelings you want to embody (joy, peace, abundance, love, etc.)
- Any other changes you want to make over the next month, such as starting a new morning routine or making more time for self-care.
Journal Your Innermost Feelings
The new moon offers the perfect opportunity to get in touch with your highest self, and one of the most profound ways to do this is through journaling. Allow yourself time and space where you won’t be interrupted. Create a space where you feel safe and at peace, whether that’s in your sacred space or outside under the stars. Consider what energies you want to release and what you want to embrace more of over the next month.
Here are a few sentences you can include in your new moon journal entry:
- “I am releasing . . .”
- “I am setting the intention to . . .”
- “I am manifesting . . .”
- You can also ask yourself: “What does my soul need?”
Take A Detox Bath
A detox bath allows you to detox your total self: mind, body, and soul. This bath is meant for spiritual and energetic cleansing. During this time, put away your phone or any other distractions. Focus solely on your own inner tranquility. Sink into relaxation and self-care. By embracing your inner peace, you release stagnant energy within and make space for new energy to come forth.
Here are some items you might use in this bath ritual:
- Essential oils, especially ones that promote relaxation, such as lavender, bergamot, and clary sage
- Epsom salt
- Himalayan pink salt
- Candles
- Dried flower petals
- Crystals
Cleanse Your Space
Because a new moon represents new beginnings, this is an ideal time to cleanse your space – both physically and energetically.
Take some time to physically declutter the spaces you spend the most time in. As you go through your items, ask yourself, “Does this represent the person I used to be or the person I want to become?” Get rid of anything that doesn’t align with the person you’re becoming.
You can also cleanse the energy of the spaces you spend the most time in by burning incense or lighting candles in the room. If possible, open the window so any old, stagnant energy in the room can be released.
Do A Candle Manifestation Ritual
Candles can be a profound addition to your new moon ritual, as they promote inner peace, help you to release negative energy, and open your heart and mind to receiving.
It’s best to do this ritual with a new candle (or one that is specifically used only for this purpose).
Once you light your candle, start visualizing your dreams and desires coming true. What does your life look like when you have everything you desire? How do you feel? See and feel everything as if it’s happening in this very moment.
Then, speak your intention aloud to the Universe. Once you’re done, express sincere gratitude and let go, trusting that everything is working out for your highest good.
To learn more about how to use candles for manifestation, plus the meanings of different candle colors, you can check out my complete guide here.
Meditate Under The Night Sky
This one is exactly as it sounds: connect with the energy of the new moon by going outside to meditate. You might do a visualization meditation, such as planting your three seeds of intention. You could also do a walking meditation by taking a nice, moonlight stroll. Your meditation can also be rooted in affirmations for releasing what no longer serves you and embracing new beginnings.
Your meditation should center around whatever your soul needs most in the moment. If you need to release something that’s been weighing you down, visualize yourself letting go of these feelings, experiences, people, or things.
If you want to manifest your desires, let your meditation be about visualizing your dreams and setting intentions.
And if you’re not sure what you need, enter your meditation with the intention of clearing your mind and seeing what comes to you. You might ask the Universe for gentle guidance before you start.
Communicate With Your Guides
This can be especially helpful for you if you’re not quite sure what intentions you want to set for this lunar cycle.
Communicate with your highest self, your guides, or with the Universe itself. (This can be done through meditation or journaling.) Ask for clear, gentle, loving guidance.
What should you let go of? What should you embrace more of? Where should you focus your energy? See what answers arise, but have patience if the answers don’t come right away. Your highest self may know the path, or you may need to step back and allow the Universe to communicate messages through signs and synchronicities.
Over the next few days, keep an open heart and an open mind to whatever messages come through.
Express Gratitude
Gratitude can be incorporated into all of the practices on this list, and it can also be the center of its own special ritual. Expressing gratitude is a beautiful way to honor the abundance of all that you have in your life.
You can also express appreciation for all that’s on its way to you right now: your dreams, desires, and manifestations. In your sacred space, write down a list of all that you’re grateful for in your life – for what is, what has been, and what’s coming.
I’ve found it to be a deeply profound practice to also express gratitude for anything you’re releasing. Maybe these thoughts, beliefs, things, or experiences don’t serve who you are today, but they helped you to grow. Maybe the presence of what you don’t want has taught you what you do want. Even your fears can be teachers. Fears often exist as a way to protect yourself. You can thank your fears for protecting you and let them know you no longer require their service.
When you can step back and view your life through the lens of appreciation, you invite more beautiful people, experiences, opportunities, and feelings to enter your world.
Let Go
Let go has a couple different meanings here, and depending on where you are on your path, you may need one or both to help you move forward.
First, the new moon offers you the chance to let go of anything that no longer serves and supports your mind, body, and spirit. Let go of limiting beliefs that are weighing you down. Let go of fears that are keeping you small. Let go of the stories you’re telling yourself about why something can’t be done.
And, if necessary, let go of anything in your physical life that’s no longer meant to be a part of the chapter you’re in right now: people, things, and experiences.
Letting go also means turning over your intentions and desires to the Universe. If you’ve spoken your innermost dreams to the Universe, allow yourself to let go of control and trust that you are being taken care of and supported in all moments.
Trust that the Universe is working behind the scenes to make sure everything works out better than you can imagine.
Trust it all to unfold beautifully, exactly as it’s meant to.
Don’t focus on the absence of your desires in this moment; focus on the abundance of all that you have and all that’s on its way to you.
Because when you focus on your abundance, your abundance grows.

How To Protect Your Energy (7 Essential Practices)
In this post, learn how to protect your energy with 7 simple yet profound practices. Plus, get positive affirmations for protecting your energy and images you can save for later!
Protecting Your Energy
One of the greatest self-care practices you can do on a daily basis is to protect your energy.
But what exactly does this mean?
Protecting your energy means choosing how you think and feel rather than allowing outside forces to dictate your thoughts and emotions.
It means that no matter what’s happening in the outer world, you’re able to cultivate a beautiful inner world through your own thoughts, beliefs, and choices.
And it means being true to your authentic self and not hiding or denying a single part of yourself for anything or anyone.
Finally, it also means holding yourself accountable. For instance, if you’re in a group that’s gossiping about someone you know, you have the choice to engage in the gossip or step away. At all times, you can ask yourself, what action best serves my positive energy?
Another question I like to ask is, what path feels most like love to me?
For the example above, if love feels like walking away from gossip, then that’s the best thing you can do in that moment to protect your energy. Because ultimately, the best energy protector is love itself.
Love might feel like morning meditations. It might feel like a walk in nature. It may feel like spending every Wednesday night alone, practicing self-care.
In all instances, you can choose the path that feels like love to support and protect your divine energy.
Below, I’ve listed seven powerful practices you can incorporate into your daily life to protect your energy. These practices range from using crystals and water as an energy purifier to taking social media breaks and setting loving boundaries. I encourage you to find the practices that resonate the most and begin to use them each day to protect your whole self: mind, body, and soul.
And again, because it can’t be emphasized enough:
The greatest way to protect your energy is to follow the path that feels like love.
Love will always protect you. Love will always heal you. Love is your superpower.

Affirmations
Protecting your energy from external toxicity all starts with your mindset.
While all of the practices on this list are powerful in helping you to protect your energy, nothing is as powerful as knowing that you are in control of your thoughts and that you’re the only one who gets to choose how you feel.
That’s why I’m putting affirmations at the top of this list. Using positive affirmations (and truly believing them!) is a powerful way to own your energy and decide how you want to feel in any given moment.
When I first started using affirmations, I used them all the time: when I woke up, as I got ready in the morning, while I worked out, as I was driving, while I cooked dinner, as I got ready for bed, and anytime the opportunity presented itself to embrace positive thinking.
Eventually, though, this practice lessened: not because I suddenly forgot about affirmations but because the powerful words had become a part of me.
I no longer had to constantly affirm that I was worthy because I knew in every cell of my being that I was undeniably and unconditionally worthy, no matter what.
That’s why affirmations can be so powerful when it comes to protecting your energy. In the beginning, you may need to remind yourself to repeat them, but in time, the powerful, protective words will become a part of you.
Below, you’ll find a list of affirmations for protecting your energy. You can also find more protection affirmations to guard your energy in this post.
Affirmations for Protecting Your Energy
- I am in charge of my own energy. I choose how I feel in every moment.
- I am the only one who gets to choose how I feel.
- I am choosing to feel grounded, calm, peaceful, and secure.
- I am safe and supported, rooted in this present moment.
- I have the power to rise above negative emotions that do not serve me.
- Even when the world around me feels chaotic, I remain rooted firmly to the ground.
- When I’m feeling overwhelmed, I allow myself space to pause and breathe.
- I vibrate powerful, abundant, peaceful energy and attract this same energy in return.
- I am strong, steady, and grounded.
- I am always supported and protected.
- I deeply appreciate my ability to remain calm and peaceful in all situations.
- I am grateful for the abundance of strength that radiates throughout my entire body.
Crystals
Crystals are a powerful resources for protecting your energy and helping you to remain grounded, stable, and secure.
My personal favorite way to use crystals for energy protection is to wear them as jewelry, as this allows me to remain protected throughout the day, no matter where I go. I also like to keep protective stones in spaces where I know I might encounter some negative external energy, such as in my workspace and in the car. And if you’re doing an energy protection meditation, holding protective gemstones in your hands while meditating can be a powerful way to amplify your intentions.
To learn more about how to cleanse, program, and use crystals, you can check out my blog post on how to use crystals here.
Here’s a list of crystals and stones you can wear, carry, or keep in your space to protect you from toxic energy:
- Hematite
- Obsidian
- Onyx
- Black Tourmaline
- Shungite
If you want to learn more about the specific meanings of each stone, I’ve got you covered in this article on grounding crystals for stability and energy protection.
Water
For centuries, various cultures and religions have used water as a way to cleanse, purify, heal, and help one reach spiritual enlightenment. Don’t underestimate the power of water to cleanse your aura from toxic energy. Just like water can cleanse the energy of a crystal, water can cleanse your own energy both within and outside of you in a profound way.
Ideally, you’d be able to spend time at the ocean or near a lake or river whenever you need a spiritual reset. But if that isn’t possible, that’s okay! A shower or a bath works just as well in cleansing your energy.
One of my favorite practices is to meditate in the shower by imagining the water washing away any negativity within or around me. This practice only takes a minute or two but can positively affect your energy throughout your day.
First, close your eyes. Take a deep, soulful inhale and a rejuvenating exhale. Concentrate on how the water feels on your skin. As the water falls around you, imagine it washing away any negative thoughts and emotions you’re holding onto. The water takes your tension and carries it to the drain. Anything that doesn’t serve your highest good is washed away from your body.
Feel your body becoming lighter. Your mind is clear. Your heart is open. Anything that doesn’t serve or support your total well-being has been washed away, swirling down the drain, where it will be cleansed by the earth.
When you’re done, smile and express gratitude. Feel the strength of your body, mind, and spirit.
You are worthy, powerful, whole, and more than enough. Carry those feelings with you throughout your day.
For more information on how water can heal and purify, I encourage you to check out this article from Sonima: The Radical Healing Effects of Water.
Visualization
When you feel like you’re surrounded by negative energy, visualization can be a profound way to replace any negativity in your auric field with positivy, protection, and love.
While you may associate visualization exercises with meditation, you can actually take a moment to practice visualization almost anytime during the day.
For instance, let’s say that you’re at work, and the energy of your coworkers, employees, and/or customers feels especially negative today. People are stressed and blaming each other for mistakes. The air around you feels tense, and that tension is starting to seep into your body, mind, and spirit.
Take a moment to step back from the outer world. Close your eyes. Imagine a beautiful light is surrounding your entire body. This light might be white, gold, purple, or any other color that resonates with you. See that light protecting your body from any negative external energy that tries to seep in. Visualize yourself walking through your day, being protected by this light at all times.
Know that you are always, always being divinely guided and protected. No amount of toxic energy can break through the loving shield of the Universe.
Breathing Exercises
A breathing exercise is conscious, purposeful breathing with the intention of calming the mind, relieving stress, improving your lung function, and grounding yourself to the present moment.
What I love about breathing exercises is that it feels like a mini-meditation that you can do practically anytime and anywhere.
Breathing exercises can be powerful practices to protect your energy because they allow you to step back from the external world and return to your inner self. And when you return to your inner self, you can release the stress and overwhelm of the outer world and cultivate a sense of calmness, peace, and groundedness within.
My personal favorite breathing exercise is alternate nostril breathing, which you can read more about here.
Another simple yet powerful practice is the 4-7-8 breathing technique. In this practice, you inhale through your nose for 4 seconds, pause at the top of your inhale for 7 seconds, and exhale through your mouth for 8 seconds. Repeat this 4 to 8 times in a session.
Often, at the end of a breathing exercise, I’ll recite a few grounding affirmations to affirm that I’m in control of my thoughts and emotions. You don’t have to do this, but if you want, you can give it a try and see if this practice resonates with you.
For more examples of breathing exercises, you can check out this article from Healthline here.
Social Media Breaks
I don’t believe social media is universally good or bad; I think it’s all in how we use it and what kind of people/accounts we choose to connect with.
In my experience, social media can be a beautiful platform for connecting with incredible souls, receiving positive messages, and creating a community based in love, kindness, compassion, and support. I think the use of social media has served my growth in many ways, especially in the past year.
But there have also been many, many times when I’ve needed to step back and take a break from it all.
I won’t go too in depth on the dangers of social media here, because I think it’s likely you’ve heard most of the arguments against it: it can be a highlight reel of people’s best moments, causing you to somehow think your life is “less than” because you don’t have everything another person has.
It’s also easy to get trapped in the belief that likes and follows somehow have any kind of impact on your worthiness (which is 100% not true).
And even if you only follow positive accounts, you might start to think that you’re supposed to be a positive, upbeat person 100% of the time, which also isn’t true.
Taking regular social media breaks is necessary for protecting your energy in the long-term. Like I said, I believe there are a lot of really great aspects of social media, and in most cases, I don’t think it’s necessary to delete it entirely.
But I do recommend scheduling social media breaks into your calendar. Also take non-scheduled breaks when you start to feel like social media is becoming an energy depleter instead of an energy restorer.
And if there’s an account that makes you feel less than or causes you to feel negative or toxic energy within?
Unfollow.
Choose to consciously curate your social media feed to best support your mind, body, and spirit.
Set Boundaries
Boundaries.
For most of us, this is likely the hardest practice on this list.
Whether it’s in your personal or professional life, setting boundaries can be a difficult practice because it often requires having uncomfortable conversations. What helps me in this situation is to ask myself, what’s more uncomfortable? Having a conversation about boundaries, or not setting boundaries and continuing to live in a state of frustration, anger, and/or overwhelm?
If you’re feeling hurt or resentful about something, then 10 times out of 10, the best thing you can do to heal your energy is to set boundaries.
However hard it may feel, it is possible to make the practice of setting boundaries a little easier. How do you do this? By stepping forward in the energy of love.
Often, we imagine conversations about boundaries to be hard, serious, and even negative. However, it is possible to approach this act with love and compassion for everyone involved. I recommend writing down your thoughts before having this conversation and scheduling time when you can have a calm conversation with the person or people you’re setting boundaries with.
In other words, try to approach this with a sense of clarity and calm rather than letting yourself get consumed by the heat of the moment and potentially saying something you’ll regret later.
Also remember, boundaries aren’t always about another person. Often, they’re about what you need. For instance, maybe you need one night a week to yourself without any interruptions. This may mean that you need to set a boundary that Wednesday nights are your nights. By dedicating this time to yourself, you’ll actually be able to show up better the rest of the week for the people in your life.
So remember, boundaries aren’t a negative thing. They’re a way you can show love to yourself, which ultimately will positively affect all aspects or your life.

What Are Mala Beads? (A How-To Guide)
What are mala beads and how are they used? In this article, you’ll get the complete guide to using mala beads in meditation, manifestation, gratitude practices, and more. Plus get my recommendations for beautiful mala beads you can purchase today.

What Are Mala Beads?
For centuries, many different religions have been using prayer beads as part of their spiritual practice. My grandpa was Catholic, and growing up, I remember seeing him pray with his rosary set between his fingers at least once a day. At his funeral, there were multiple stories told of my Grandpa Moose and his rosary, and there was also a service in which loved ones honored his memory by reciting the Holy Rosary as they held rosary beads.
Mala beads have been used as part of a spiritual practice for over 3,000 years, most prominently associated with Hinduism and Buddhism. However, they have gained widespread acceptance among people of various spiritual backgrounds, and in many cultures, they’re used as part of a non-religious affiliated meditation practice.
So what exactly are mala beads?
Mala beads are a string of beads used as a meditation and mindfulness aid. Typically, they have 108 beads, and while each necklace or bracelet is unique, they generally all have the same standard components, such as the Guru Bead, the Tassel, Marker Beads, and Spacer Beads. We’ll define the function of these different components below.
The most common use of mala beads is to recite a mantra during meditation. They’re also often used as a mindful breathing tool, and you can even use them as part of your manifestation practice. Many people who have a difficult time sitting still during meditation find that incorporating mala beads into their practice helps them to relax and cultivate a greater sense of mindfulness as they meditate.
Below, you’ll learn about the various components of mala beads, how to use them, and how to choose the best mala beads for you.

Common Components Of Mala Beads
As mentioned above, the common components you’ll see in a mala bead necklace are the following:
- 108 Counting Beads
- Guru Bead
- Marker Beads
- Spacer or Decorative Beads
- Knots
- Charm
- Tassel
Here’s the function of each of these components:
108 Counting Beads
Each mala necklace typically has 108 identical counting or primary beads, though some have less, which is okay. In meditation, it’s typical to hold the mala beads with one hand, draped across your fingers, and touch each counting bead with the thumb and middle finger one at a time, working your way through the entire necklace. You’ll complete one full inhale and exhale with each bead before moving to the next. (More on this practice in the How-To section below.)
Guru Bead
The Guru Bead is your starting point. It is typically bigger and has a distinct look from the other beads on the mala necklace or bracelet, though sometimes it’ll be the same type of bead as the marker beads. You’ll usually find this bead attached to the tassel.
Marker Beads
You’ll typically find four marker beads on a mala necklace, spaced at every 27th bead. These marker beads are usually slightly bigger than the counting beads and often a different color. The marker beads are a way to help you come back to your meditation if your mind has strayed. When you come across a marker bead, it reminds you to return to the present moment. In essence, this is a beautiful mindfulness tool. (Note that not all malas have marker beads.)
Spacer/Decorative Beads
The spacer beads are typically smaller (and often flatter) beads placed between larger beads. Depending on the unique necklace, you may see these in different sections, such as between the Guru bead and counting beads or before and after every marker bead. Note that not all mala necklaces have spacer beads. You do not count the spacer beads during your meditation.
Knots
In a typical mala necklace, you’ll find a small knot between each bead. The knot ensures that if the string breaks, the beads will not be lost. This makes your mala stronger, and the knots can also help with the movement of the mala during your meditation.
Charm
Your mala may or may not have a charm on the end, often in place of the tassel. The charm is typically ornamental, though you may choose one that has special meaning to you, such as a lotus flower or chakra symbol.
Tassel
While the tassel may seem at first appearance to be decorative, it’s actually steeped in deep spiritual symbolism. The strings of the mala loop through all of the beads, coming together through the Guru bead and finishing in the tassel. Some view this coming together of the strings to be symbolic of oneness, both with the Universe and each other. It can also be viewed as one’s desire to reach enlightenment. While I didn’t list it here, you can also view the string or thread that the beads are threaded on to be an important component of the mala, as it’s the link that brings everything together.

How To Choose Mala Beads
There isn’t a science to choosing your mala, which is a good thing if you’re like me and tend to follow your intuition when making decisions.
Choosing the right mala beads for you is truly an intuitive practice. As you start searching for the right one for you, you’ll find mala bead necklaces that come in all different colors and often are made of different materials. Some of these materials might include gemstones, pearls, wood, and lotus seeds.
This is one of the most important questions to ask yourself as you’re searching for mala beads:
“Do I find it beautiful?”
It truly is that simple. Find the one that speaks to you. If you’re browsing through mala beads and one nudges your heart, it’s very likely you’ve found the perfect mala necklace for you.
I know from personal experience, however, that it’s easy to get stuck in your own head when making these types of decisions. I have a history of over-analyzing my shopping choices, from what yearly planner I should purchase to what pint of ice cream I want to buy (and promptly consume). I love to follow my heart, but sometimes my heart wants mint chocolate chip and cookies n’ cream.
If you’re having trouble choosing, I find it helpful to step back and ask myself, “What are my intentions?” Do I want to use these mala beads to help me cultivate spirituality? Do I want to feel a connection with a higher power? Do I want to improve my meditations? Is this a way for me to feel more calm and relaxation?
Once you’ve established your intentions, you may have a clearer picture of which mala beads you want to purchase.
Finally, if you’re in a physical store, it’s always helpful to pick up the mala beads and get a feel for them within your fingers. Since you’re going to be holding these beads for an extended amount of time, you want to make sure you choose ones that feel good to you.

Benefits of Using Mala Beads
So why use mala beads? We’ve touched upon this a little bit above, but let’s dive into all the reasons mala beads can be beneficial to you:
- Promotes Mindfulness: As you take conscious inhales and exhales with each bead before moving onto the next, you’re more likely to remain in the present moment throughout your meditation. And if your thoughts do drift, you’ll eventually reach one of the marker beads, which will gently bring you back to the here and now.
- Can Improve Your Meditation: This is especially true if you have a hard time sitting still for extended amounts of time. If you find yourself wanting to move around and fidget while meditating, mala beads are the perfect tool for you to incorporate into your practice. It’s, in a sense, mindful fidgeting. (Kind of?)
- Helps Improve Your Breathwork: I tend to be pretty good at consciously paying attention to my inhales and exhales while meditating . . . at least during the first few minutes. I’ve found that mala beads empower me to be more conscious of my breathing throughout my meditation. And to circle back to the two bulletpoints above, this helps to promote mindfulness and improves my meditation.
- Connection With a Higher Power: The mala is more than just its individual components; it’s an entire unit brought together by the thread that links together the counting beads with the marker beads with the Guru bead with the tassel. This unity represents our own unity: unity with our higher selves, unity with each other, and unity with a higher power.
How To Use Mala Beads
Meditation
While using mala beads in meditation may seem overwhelming at first, it’s actually an extremely simple and effective way to meditate that requires little to no technical ability.
Before using mala beads in meditation, I want you to give yourself permission to be imperfect, especially as you’re first learning. It’s okay if you don’t follow all of the steps perfectly when you’re just starting. The most important thing is intention. If your heart is in the right place, and your intentions are positive, this is far more important than perfection.
Furthermore, you can use your imperfections as a way to practice mindfulness, non-judgmental awareness, and compassion. Were you holding your mala beads with the incorrect fingers? Was your mind so distracted, you missed the marker beads? Notice, accept, and keep going.
Here’s your step-by-step directions for how to use mala beads in meditation. I’ll discuss some alternative uses below.
Breathing Meditation
- Find a quiet spot where you won’t be disturbed. If you already have an ongoing meditation practice, you may already have a time and space that works for you. If you use the full 108 beads, this practice typically takes 30 minutes. If you decide not to use the full 108 beads, that’s okay. You can choose to stop at one of the marker beads instead.
- Drape your mala beads over your non-dominant hand. Make sure you feel comfortable and that the beads will be easy to move. With your thumb and middle finger of your dominant hand, gently touch the Guru bead. You typically do not use the index finger in this practice, as the index finger is connected to the Ego.
- Touch the first counting bead, and take one full inhale and exhale. Then, move to the second bead. Continue this process, inhaling and exhaling once per bead. You’ll stop when you make your way around back to the Guru bead.
- As mentioned above, you can choose to shorten your meditation by stopping at one of the marker beads. Alternatively, if you wish to extend your meditation, you can turn the mala around and start again. Note that it’s common practice not to jump over the Guru bead. So if you’re extending your meditation, rather than jumping over it to start back at the first counting bead, you’d turn the mala around and go in reverse.
Mantra Meditation
I was first introduced to using mala beads in meditation through the practice of mantra meditations. A mantra meditation is one in which you repeat a specific mantra throughout the meditation (traditionally, 108 times). This form of meditation is also known as japa meditation.
Your chosen mantra should be something that resonates with you. It can be a sacred word, affirmation, divine name, or simply a word such as love or peace.
Here are a few examples of possible mantras you could use:
- Aum or Om (This has many rich and deep meanings. It is known as the word of God, the sacred sound of the Universe, and the union of the mind, body, and spirit.)
- Om Shanti Om (Universal Peace)
- Om Shanti Shanti Shanti (Peace of Mind, Body, and Speech)
- Love
- Peace
- I am love.
- I am peace.
- I am worthy.
- I am enough.
- Love guides me.
To perform a mantra meditation using mala beads, you’ll essentially take the same steps you do with the breathing meditation. However, in place of the conscious inhales and exhales, you’ll repeat your chosen mantra as you touch each bead. You can repeat your mantra either internally, at a whisper under your breath, or out loud. Do what makes you feel most comfortable.
Finally, here’s great 5-minute tutorial on how to hold and use your mala beads.
Alternative Uses
While meditation is the most common way to use mala beads, it’s not the only way. Here are a few other practices for using mala beads:
- Wear Your Beads: Wearing your mala beads is more than just a fashion statement; it’s a profound practice to connect you to your highest self and cultivate mindfulness in your life. When you wear your beads, you can set the intention to remember the same peace and serenity you feel when you’re meditating. The most common ways to wear your beads are as a necklace or wrapped around your wrist as a bracelet.
- Manifestation: The most powerful way to use mala beads for manifestation is to recite affirmations for manifestation as you touch each bead. To do this, you’d follow the same steps I wrote above for the breathing meditation, but in place of the conscious inhales and exhales, you’d recite a positive affirmation. As you do this, consciously make sure to feel the positive energy of the affirmation flowing through you. It’s up to you whether you’d like to recite different affirmations or repeat the same affirmations throughout. For some ideas of affirmations to use, here are some Law of Attraction affirmations and manifestation affirmations to get you started.
- Gratitude Practice: This has become one of my personal favorite ways to use mala beads. Again, you’ll follow the same instructions as above for the breathing meditation, but here, you’ll think of one thing you’re grateful for as you touch each bead. I know it may seem like 108 things is a lot, but it actually becomes pretty easy once you get going. For instance, you can think about each individual part of your body, from your eyes to your lips to your lungs, arms, stomach, legs, and feet (and everything in-between). You can also think about individual people, memories, and luxuries we often take for granted, like air conditioning and running water.

How To Cleanse Your Crystals
When you first purchase a new crystal, it’s important to cleanse the crystal before you use it, even if you only intend to have it sit in one spot. Crystals hold energy inside them, and when you first receive them, it’s almost a sure thing that they’ll be holding some kind of energy within from past owners and experiences.
Even if you’re the first official owner of this crystal, it still traveled from source to seller to you. It inherently holds energy just from its travels and all the hands it has passed through.
On top of cleansing your crystals when you first get them, it’s a good habit to cleanse them regularly. Even if you’ve cleansed a new crystal once, it will continue to receive and store energy with time. Eventually, if there’s too much energy stored inside it, it will no longer work effectively. Try to cleanse your crystals at least once a month using any of the methods below.
Water: If possible, try to use clean, natural water like a creek, river, or stream. Hold your stone beneath the surface and rinse it within the running water. If there’s no natural water nearby, it’s okay to use a faucet. Either way, just be sure to first do a quick Google search or consult a book on crystals to make sure water is safe for your stone. You don’t want to use this method for soft stones like Selenite.
Use Selenite or Clear Quartz: Selenite and Clear Quartz are both beautiful crystals that typically have a whitish, clear surface. These crystals are unique in that they are able to cleanse and purify other crystals. Lay your crystal on a piece of Selenite or Clear Quartz for at least 24 hours. If you can’t place your crystal on top, you can also place them side-by-side with their edges touching.
Nature: I like to compare crystals to people when it comes to holding energy. When we store old or negative energy within, one of the most powerful ways to balance our own energy is to spend time in nature. Crystals are the same. Lay your crystals out in nature and let them experience the healing presence of the earth for a day. You can place crystals on the soil, on a tree branch, on a potted plant, among the blades of grass, in your garden, or anywhere else outside where you feel a sense of peace and harmony.
Sun: Many crystals love the bright energy and light of the sun. Just make sure first that this is safe for your stone. Some stones, like Amethyst, shouldn’t be placed directly in the sun for too long.
Moon: You can place your crystals outside overnight anytime, but this is especially powerful during the Full Moon when the moonlight is brightest.
How To Program Crystals & Gemstones
Programming your crystals is the act of setting an intention so that you and your crystal are in alignment. When using crystals to help heal anxiety and restore balance within, your intention will likely have something to do with walking forward on your path with a sense of calm, alignment, harmony, and ease.
Here are a few examples of intentions that you might set:
- My energy is perfectly aligned and balanced. I feel calm, confident, and at ease.
- I am protected from negative energy. All of the energy that flows within and around me supports my highest good and total well-being.
- I cultivate power, courage, and strength within to confidently face all situations.
Your intention might also be more specific if your anxiety arises during certain situations, such as at work or during social events.
Programming your crystals comes after cleansing your crystals. When your crystal has been properly cleansed, find a quiet spot where you can be undisturbed for at least 10 to 15 minutes. If you have a sacred space or a meditation table, this is the perfect time to use this space. Feel free to light some candles or cleanse your space before you begin.
Hold your crystal within your hands and state your intention out loud. Lift your crystal to your mouth and gently breathe on it. As you breathe, internally state your intention. Ideally, you will be in a high-vibrational state while doing this. Repeat this for several minutes, or until you feel ready to move to the next step.
You can lower your hands now if you wish, keeping your crystal within your palms. Close your eyes (if they aren’t already closed) and visualize your intention coming to life. Visualize the life you imagine for yourself with this intention coming true. See your highest, most authentic self living your most confident life – a life where anxiety doesn’t have a hold over you.
And as you visualize, allow yourself to truly feel all of the positive emotions associated with your vision.
Continue your visualization until you feel that the crystal has been programmed with your intention. (This feeling will be a deep inner knowing. It won’t be anything big or flashy. Think of it like a small, gentle nudge within.)

By promoting a sense of calm within, Amethyst will clear out the negativity in your mind so you can find clarity on your journey. With clarity, your creativity and courage are able to shine, and you can walk forward on your path with a sense of purpose and inner knowing.
Apophyllite
If anxiety is a constant companion in your life, let Apophyllite take its place as it soothes and heals your mind, body, and spirit. As one of the most powerful stones for healing anxiety, Apophyllite is known for being a stone of light, and it infuses its light into your spirit, relieving your tension and unease. Hematite
Hematite is the ultimate grounding stone. When you find your mind is spinning in circles or when the world is crashing over you, Hematite will clear the chaos and pull you back to earth.
Associated with the root chakra, your body’s first energy center, Hematite restores your strong and steady foundation and promotes feelings of ease and security. And as it does this, it also allows you to release stress, worry, and anxiety.
Additionally, Hematite is a protective stone, so you can wear it as jewelry or keep it with you throughout your day, and it will help you to remain centered and grounded while protecting you from negative energy and toxic vibes. If you’re an empath, this stone is a must-have as it will protect you from taking on the negative energy of others.
Chakras: Root
Lepidolite
Lepidolite is the gemstone version of your best friend; it listens to your emotions and then gently guides you to a place of healing. When you’ve been stuck in a state of heartbreak, depression, or permanent stress, Lepidolite helps to heal your broken heart and restores your sense of confidence, enthusiasm, joy, and purpose.
And going one step further, as you’ve discovered a renewed sense of purpose, it helps you to embrace change and step into the next chapter of your life.
If you’ve been living in a state of worry, stress, chaos, or perpetual sadness, Lepidolite will help you to move forward into the next phase of your life with joy, confidence, and faith. For women, this stone will also help to retain harmony during the most emotional times of your cycle. And for all, it promotes a rejuvenating and restful night’s sleep.

Obsidian
Like Hematite, Obsidian is also a powerful grounding stone that allows you to realign with your foundation when your mind, body, and spirit aren’t in harmony. And like Lepidolite, Obsidian is also kind of like your best friend, except this is the best friend that you may not always want but that you always need.
Obsidian tells it like it is and shows you both your positive and negative traits. If you’ve been suppressing negativity, Obsidian carries it to the surface so you can face it head on. However, it’s not going to leave you high and dry to face this negativity alone. Like a true friend, Obsidian will help to clear any negativity and darkness and guide you toward the path of light, love, hope, and faith.
In addition, Obsidian is also a powerful protective stone. It helps to guard your energy and protects you from negativity and darkness, both externally and within.
Chakras: Root
Onyx
Like Hematite and Obsidian, Onyx is a grounding stone associated with the root chakra. It helps you to relieve stress and restore harmony within your being.
But what makes Onyx really special is its ability to guide you through fear.
When facing our fears, we often feel stressed, worried, nervous, and anxious. Onyx absorbs these negative energies and helps you to restore confidence and self-belief. It also helps you to make life choices that support your ultimate well-being and guides you down unknown paths with strength and courage.
If you’re feeling anxious and worried about the future, Onyx will give you the courage to face your fears and the strength to keep walking forward, no matter what.
Chakras: Primarily Root; can also work with Solar Plexus, Third Eye, and Crown
Rhodonite
Rhodonite is a beautiful stone associated with the heart chakra that nurtures inner healing and moving past difficult situations. This is one that you want to have in your spiritual first aid kit as it provides emotional support when you’re in the midst of painful situations.
When dealing with anxiety-producing situations, Rhodonite will help you to remain centered and calm your nerves. Rhodonite also helps to open your heart and empowers your highest self to live your most joyful, peaceful, loving life. This stone clears negativity and lifts your vibrations, no matter what you’re currently going through.
Chakras: Heart
Smoky Quartz
Smoky Quartz is a powerful stone to help you release negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, stress, and unease. When you’re in the midst of an overwhelming or anxious situation, feel the calming effects of this stone almost instantly by stepping back, taking a deep breath, and holding your stone over any areas of your body that feel tense and constricted. A bonus to using Smoky Quartz is that if often complements and amplifies the energy of surrounding stones.
Smoky Quartz will help you get through the difficult moments of life, provide clarity in uncertain situations, and transform negative emotions into positive emotions. And if anxiety often leaves you feeling overwhelmed, Smoky Quartz will transform overwhelm into insight so that you can effectively understand and work through any problems that may be disrupting your peace.

A really good positive affirmation—the kind that lights up your heart and sparks something powerful deep inside of you—should uplift, encourage, and inspire your highest self.
It should feel like a call to take back your story. To choose your own path. To stand tall in your undeniable worthiness and proclaim that you are everything you want to be.
You are worthy. You are enough. You are powerful and strong and so much more than you’ve ever given yourself credit for.

11 Powerful Crystals for Manifestation
From manifesting love and peace to financial prosperity, crystals and gemstones are powerful tools to guide you in manifesting the life of your deepest, most heartfelt dreams. Below, discover 11 beautiful crystals for manifestation, plus learn how to cleanse, program, and use your crystals to manifest your dreams.
Why You Should Be Using Crystals
You are already a powerful manifestor, whether or not you’re consciously aware of it.
Throughout your life, you’ve been emitting energy out into the world that reflects your inner state.
You might call this your energetic signature, and this can change from day to day – and even from moment to moment.
When you feel peaceful and calm, you radiate an overall aura of deep serenity. This energy doesn’t just flow through you; it surrounds your entire being.
If this is hard to imagine, think about the energy you feel when you’re around specific people. Do you love to be in the company of certain friends, family, or coworkers because of the positive energy you feel when you’re around them?
And on the other side, are there certain people you avoid because they carry a constant energy of negativity?
You, too, carry a specific energy signature throughout your day. Manifestation is the art of tuning your own energy to your desired state of being. When you emit an energy of deep inner peace from within, you invite more experiences of peace and serenity in your outside world.
So while you’ve been manifesting your entire life, conscious manifestation occurs when you become aware of your limitless ability to create your own outcomes, and you intentionally choose your thoughts and feelings to align with the energy of your desires.
(I won’t go too in depth on the process of manifestation in this article, but if you want to learn more, you can click here to learn more about the Law of Attraction, and here you can read about specific manifestation methods you can use to help you manifest what you truly desire.)
So how exactly do crystals help you manifest your dreams and desires?
When you use crystals for manifestation, your chosen stones aren’t simply attracting love, financial abundance, health, and other desired outcomes to you; they’re helping you to cultivate a deep sense of self so that you discover that these things already exist within you.
You are love. Love is your birthright. So is financial abundance, health, joy, creativity, passion, and all kinds of really good and wonderful things.
Crystals help you to become the energy of what it is that you want to manifest.
They restore harmony and balance within you and empower you to live as your highest and most authentic self.
And when you become the energy you want to manifest, you attract more of this energy to you.
Become unconditional love. Receive unconditional love.
Become abundance. Receive abundance.
By becoming, you’re opening yourself up to receiving.
And while it’s absolutely possible to walk into a store and feel called toward a certain crystal (always trust the wisdom of your intuition), it helps to have an understanding of the properties and powers that different crystals possess when you’re choosing the right crystal for you.
Below, you’ll discover 11 powerful crystals that will help you manifest your desires, plus some easy-to-follow practices on how to cleanse, program, and use crystals for manifestation. Feel free to use the links below to skip to the section you want to learn more about!

How to Cleanse Your Crystals
Why do we cleanse crystals before using them? Imagine that you’re moving into a “new” old house. Even though the house is new to you, you know that the house has been lived in by several families before you. These families made their own memories in the house, and over the years, they’ve left behind bits and pieces of their energy inside that house.
Just like you want to clear the energy of the past residents so you can start anew in this house, you want to clear any old energy and past intentions still being held in your crystals.
Even if you’re the first person to ever own this crystal, it’s likely traveled a long way from its source to the seller to you. Because you don’t know what kind of energy is currently held in your new crystal(s), it’s a best practice to cleanse your crystals before using them.
Methods to Cleanse Crystals:
- Sage: Light your sage and immerse the crystal in the smoke for thirty to sixty seconds. Be sure to use a firesafe bowl or abalone shell to catch burning embers and ash. It’s best to do this outside or near an open window for two reasons: A) Safety and B) It allows any negative and old energies to rise in the air and disappear from your space.
- Water: Rinse your stone under the running water of a creek or stream. If this isn’t possible, you can also use a faucet. Just make sure to do a little research first to make sure it’s safe for your stone. You don’t want to use this method for soft stones like Selenite.
- Use Selenite or Clear Quartz: Both of these crystals have the ability to cleanse and purify other crystals. Lay your crystal on a piece of Selenite or Clear Quartz for at least twenty-four hours. If you can’t place your crystal on top, it also works to have them side-by-side as long as they’re touching.
- Nature: When I need to reset and get realigned, I can always restore balance within when I immerse myself in nature. Crystals are the same. Place your crystals outside on the soil, on the branches of a tree, on a potted plant, or anywhere else outdoors where you feel a sense of peace and balance. If possible, try to keep your crystals outside for at least a full day, avoiding dew and prolonged exposure to sunlight.
- Sun/Moon: Place your crystals outside in the sun or moon for ten to twelve hours (or overnight). This is especially powerful during the Full Moon when the moonlight is brightest. If you’re going to use this method, just make sure it’s safe for your stone. For certain stones, like Amethyst, you want to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
How to Program Crystals for Manifestation
The number one most important thing to remember when it comes to programming your crystals for manifestation isn’t the method itself; it’s your intention. There are several ways to program your crystals, and none are inherently better than the others. What matters is your intention during the process.
It helps to have a powerful sentence or phrase to use when you’re getting ready to program your crystals. For instance, if you want to manifest health, your sentence might be, “I am living my healthiest and most fit life in a body I truly love.” Or if you’re manifesting financial abundance, your intention might be, “I am a successful entrepreneur, and financial prosperity comes easily and effortlessly to me.“
The key is, before you sit down to program your crystals, make sure you really know what it is that you want to manifest.
Methods to Program Crystals:
- Visualize: Sit in a quiet, safe place where you won’t be interrupted. Hold your crystal(s) in your hands. In your mind, speak your intention. Then, visualize what this intention looks like. What does financial abundance look like to you? How do you envision romantic love? What do you see when you imagine yourself living your healthiest and most fit life? Sit in silence for a while and see your intentions manifesting in your mind, feeling the emotions of peace, freedom, joy, love, and/or any other positive emotions that arise when you visualize your dream.
- Breathe into the crystal: Again, find a quiet and safe spot where you won’t be interrupted. Place your stone(s) in your hands and repeat your intention in your head. Bring your stone(s) up to your mouth and breathe into them, repeating your intention in your head. Continue to do this for five to ten minutes, or as long as it takes to feel like your gemstones are fully activated.
How To Use Crystals To Manifest What You Want
- Wear crystals as jewelry: Wearing your stones as rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings allows you to easily keep your stone with you at all times. I love rings especially because you can look down at them anytime and be reminded of your limitless power. On top of that, wearing beautiful things helps you to feel good and sparks joy within. And this is not superficial or shallow. Lean into the belief that you are worthy and deserving of wearing beautiful things. If it supports the internal joy that you cultivate within, embrace it.
- Keep crystals nearby throughout your day: But be intentional with placement. For instance, if you’re using gemstones to manifest financial abundance, place them in your workspace to promote the continual incoming paychecks and flow of money coming in. You can also place them in your wallet or purse to amplify the energy of abundance. Similarly, if you’re manifesting creativity, keep your gemstones in your office or studio where you do most of your creative endeavors.
- Meditate with crystals: You can hold your crystals in your hands as you meditate, or you can place the crystals on the corresponding energy center on your body while laying down. For instance, if you’re using Rose Quartz to help you manifest love, place the Rose Quartz on your heart center as you meditate. Get a quick guide to your seven main energy centers (chakras) and their meanings here.
- Keep crystals in your pocket: If you don’t have jewelry with your chosen gemstone (or don’t want to wear jewelry), you can keep your crystals in your pocket so they’re still with you throughout the day.

What Is A Crystal Candle?
A crystal candle is a candle that’s been infused with crystals and gemstones in order to promote clarity and inner peace as well as to help you manifest your specific desires. Many crystal candles contain multiple smaller gemstones in them, and some will also include a Selenite or Clear Quartz wand for deeper clarity and energy healing.
When selecting a crystal candle, my best advice is to try not to overthink it. The most important attribute in picking one out is to simply find one that calls to you.
If you already have some knowledge of the meanings of different crystals, you can search for one that has a meaning that correlates with your specific desires. For instance, many crystal candles include Citrine, which is tied to joy, abundance, and prosperity. Rose Quartz is another popular choice, as it’s connected to your heart chakra and known to help open your heart to let more love into your life.
But if you don’t want to worry too much about the specific meanings of the crystals, that’s completely okay, too. Let your intuition guide you to the right candle for you. This can be a fun practice, as often, your intuition knows what you need even before your conscious mind does.
One of the best aspects of a crystal candle is that once you’ve burned the candle completely, you can repurpose the crystals and gemstones and continue to use them around the house or as jewelry. This makes it a meaningful and unique gift option for friends and loved ones. (And it’s also a great item to keep in your personal self-care toolkit as well.)
Below, get tips on how to use crystal candles, plus get links to beautiful candles (and gift sets) infused with crystals, essential oils, herbs, and other natural products that you can purchase today.
How To Use Crystal Candles
The simplest way to use crystal candles is to simply light a candle and keep it going in the background while you’re at home. You can also use them while you’re taking a bath, reading, working – truly, the options are endless.
If you’re looking to connect deeper with your innermost self, you can use a crystal candle while journaling. Find a candle that contains crystals that correlate with the part of yourself that you want to connect with or heal. For instance, you can choose Rose Quartz to open your heart chakra or Amethyst for connecting with your inner wisdom and intuition. Set an intention before you journal for what you want to accomplish during this journaling session. Then, light your candle and let the words flow.
Finally, you can also use a crystal candle in a dedicated manifestation ritual.
To begin, find a quiet spot where you can meditate without interruptions or distractions. Light the crystal candle of your choice before you begin meditating. Set an intention for something specific that you want to manifest into your life. Once you begin your meditation, start visualizing every detail of how it will look and feel when your intention becomes real.
For instance, if you want to manifest love, visualize what your life will look like when you meet the love of your life. And even more, allow yourself to feel the positive emotions of having your soulmate in your life today.

(Note that these candles are a bit on the smaller side at 2.75 inches tall.)
Chic & Raw Heart Chakra Crystal Candle
Chic & Raw’s beautiful Heart Chakra Crystal Candle contains two genuine Madagascan Rose Quartz gems inside, designed to gently heal and open the heart chakra to bring joy and love into your life. Not only is this one of the prettiest candles on this list, but it’s eco-friendly, too. Chic & Raw uses organic soy wax and natural essential oils, and their crystals are from natural and sustainable sources. Made with ginger and white tea essential oils, this is also a great alternative if you’re looking for something outside of the standard vanilla or lavender scents.
Hemlock Park Crystal Candles
Want something different than Rose Quartz, Citrine, and Amethyst? Hemlock Park offers beautiful candles that include crystals and gemstones you don’t typically see in crystal candles. This Lapis Lazuli Sea Salt Orchid candle is one of my favorites, as Lapis Lazuli is a stone of enlightenment, wisdom, and truth. I also love that Hemlock Park candles are naturally made with organic ingredients, and each candle comes with a pair of bamboo tongs to remove the crystal once the candle has been completely burned. You can find more unique Hemlock Park crystal candles here.
